The worst thing u forgot was to cover or tape off the intake manifold after u removed the plenum. U drop a piece of metal, bolt, or anything down there, it’s game over if u don’t notice. I liked your video because it showed me what not to do while showing me what to do at the same time. I have the Haynes manual but I like to watch a video of the job b4 I tear it down nice work for a beginner. I have almost 200,000 miles on mine gave it to my gf but still do all the work
Why replace the injectors? Can you tell us a little about your diagnosis/ symptoms (DTC) or tests that led you to replace? This is the same car that you replaced heads on, right?...seems it's running well for you. Do you like the new front shocks? I have the same car. I changed the TB/WP/radiator/ t-stat / belts/pulleys/ hoses on mine and she runs well. Picked up some great tips here! Very nice ice vid Matt. Thanks a lot!

if i have a 300m with over 200,000 on it and i smell gas near the injectors what are the chance its just bad o rings or the stupidly placed fuel pressure regulator on the rail ? or how can i tell if its one or the other ? thanks
I have the same issue ism 100@% sure its leaky fuel injectors. My gas milllage is shit now . Iam replacing mine with 4 hole injectors from 2.4 engine they are 22 lb. Ours are 21 lb. Direct fit . Should get better gas millage.
Hey Matt. I've got a 2007 Nissan Fuga 3.5L and the interior work only sometimes(radio, air temp, the cars stock screen in center, reversing camera etc) and i was wondering if you may know what is wrong with it/how to fix it. Sometimes the screen starts up and music will play and EVERYTHING works amazingly but randomly it doesn't. Its like it just decides when it wants to turn on and when it doesn't.
+jay phillips Sounds like a wiring issue to me. I would trace the circuit to see if battery power is being cut off somewhere. You're going to need a wiring diagram and locations of connectors. All this can be found on alldatadiy.com. Something may be loose or damaged causing intermittent connection.

On the two front bolts on the intake they stripped while torquing them down my torque wrenches is at 21 lbs what do I do😢

I have this same engine in a 02 Concorde limited and isles low and you can feel her jerk on driving. Like idle surge. Any ideas

I’m only replacing cylinder 4’s injector how do I know what one is cylinder 4?

check also where fuel line goes on to fuel rail behind the intake

Maybe the bcm (body control module) that’s a lot of mess but these cars are made to have one problem cause 10
Where was the Plenum Gasket?
@ryan those gaskets are one time use they flatten out when intake is bolted down.
I’m going without it too wish me luck lol
