I am an Arab living in Yemen. Honestly, I did not utter my first English word except through your channel. It was my Egyptian teacher, Ibrahim Adel, who guided me to it. He told me, “Do not learn the English language or take anything from it except from those who have lived among native speakers or from native speakers themselves.” This was the best advice I have ever received in my journey of learning English. Without it, I might have stumbled with those who are not proficient in teaching, whether Arabs or foreigners. So, choosing your channel was an excellent decision. To be honest with you, you are an ideal teacher. This is not just because I am one of your followers, but it’s the truth. I have benefited greatly from you. For example, I haven’t found lessons like yours in pronunciation and correcting pronunciation-it’s truly remarkable. Additionally, your lessons on taking vocabulary and sentences directly from real-life contexts and using standard American English are exactly what I love. Thank you so much! I hope to meet you one day and repay your kindness. If there’s a way I can repay you without meeting you, please let me know
Rachel, when you make these long Videos with the Clip of Friends, it surely makes my day. Merry Christmas to all my Christian Brothers and sisters all around the world.
This is always the #1 show in Vietnam for English learners. Thank you for making videos about it. My family has just finished Young Sheldon last week. It's also a cozy show for families during the holiday season. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Rachel. Thank you for reigniting my passion for English again in 2024. I cannot immage to learn pronounciation like a native speaker in this way. How fantastic it is with Ben Franklin Analysis. American English Pronunciation (and its videos) is the best of best book I've ever seen for pronuciation. I never realized how important it is with vocal placement for non-native speakers. My genuine feeling is that I may have learned a 'fake' English in past 20 years trying to speak out every single syllable and never paying attention to the tone/rhythm. Highly appreciate to bring the courage back to me again. Wish you a prosperous 2025. All the best. By the way, the transcript seems not available for this video.
Merry Christmas to you as well @kleinjiang! 🎄✨ Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your journey with us. It's incredible to hear how Ben Franklin Analysis and the focus on tone, rhythm, and vocal placement have reignited your passion for learning English. You're absolutely right-understanding the natural flow of American English can make such a big difference in sounding more native and feeling confident while speaking. I'm so glad the videos have been helpful to you and have brought back your courage-your progress is truly inspiring! 😊 Regarding the transcript, I’ll look into it and make sure it’s updated soon if it’s missing. Thank you for pointing that out. Wishing you a joyful and successful 2025 filled with even more growth and achievements! All the best to you on your English-learning journey. 🌟
I was wondering if using Present perfect after since is correct in 'since I've been flung'. Is it? Shouldn't it be 'since I was flung'?Sorry for being off topic.
Thanx for your lessons and your video. But right now in Russia we have some problems with Utube 😢 It's has been slowed down for a month or so and it's almost impossible to watch it at length😢 Are there any other platforms/sites where you are placing your materials?
Teacher, could you please clarify if we need to learn your anylaais or if we should just learn how to speak English? Your videos are merely meant to help us acquire an American accent, am I correct?
Hi! Many people find the analysis helpful in their study of American English pronunciation, but feel free to use my materials in whichever way helps you the most in your practice!
I admire you cause in Cuba where I live cause by the way I'm Cuban and my English teachers had bad pronunciation and I don't wanna sound rude but it's what it is and by the way I found your channel around two years ago on a guy's video who was talking about you and it was a miracle cause I was really confused about pronunciation and I really like the English pronunciation
On a subway to airport,a girl beside me asked me what this app is?? I told her your channel. You may have a follower later only if she can pass through the fire-wall ..

How do I study this kind of lesson? Do i just repeat after you or i just need to watch it more than once?
You can do both! I recommend out-loud imitation for the best effect.

Rachel, does he not say "There are some nice guys """""IN""""" my office."??
The "at" reduction is very short here. The word "in" would also work in the sentence grammatically, though!
Did he pronounce "didn't" with an "n" sound as in the word"no" instead of a glottal stop? What I hear is /ɾɪn/ instead of /ɾɪʔ/
This reduction is said really quickly, so the N sound is an option for this word, yes!
