Got my TV the other day. Connected it up. Everything working perfectly. Then a few days later it says it connected to the router but has no internet access. Tried everything from factory reset also tried to change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 but it says the please enter a value in the range of 0-255. I don't know what else I can do? Thanks

In my case the internet works i can use the apps on the tv like TH-cam and Netflix but the browser doesn’t work I have tried doing a reset but no luck
Unplug your tv and hold power button for 10 seconds. Restart your router.
Update tv software and try chrome browser.

My toshiba only has connection via ethernet but in "settings" there is no "network" so I cannot select "wired connectivity" per the manual. How do I fix this? is there a hard reset to reset all the settings?

I have toshiba 50u778 and last week I loosed the wifi connection every led than ten seconds. When I go to the menu I noteced that the bottom of wlan goes on and of automatically evert t seconds.
I do reset to factory settings the proplem stay on.
Pleas your help.
If you have any doubt the problem come from router then, keep close your tv & router in the same room.
If you’re router is old then replace it.
Change the router band 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz.
Change router channel to free channel. For understanding please googling.
Set reservation IP for the smart tv.
If possible unplug the tv and router power cable for 3 minutes.

Hi.. can help me.. my TV can connect to wifi.. can browse and install what ever apps. But it cant update the Toshiba software and "display unable to contact the toshiba web server". This issue happened after i factory reset the TV.. now my TV become so lagging.. i try your method to download the firmware.. but my TV 40L5400VM firmware unable to find..
Try to change dns settings as 8.8.8.8
Or 8.8.4.4

I've a question.
Step 1 is to make sure the internet is connected. But my Tv wireless wifi cannot get connected. It just keep on displaying 'TV connecting to wifi' but it wouldn't and it will stay on that page forever.
The only way right now to get my tv connected to the internet is via the physical cable. How do I fix my wireless wifi? I called Toshiba Singapore support and they told me to go to my dealer.

Tv network settings dns 8.8.8.8

You need to same wifi connection.
And cast application .
If tv has no casting option then use chromecast or other casting device.

Kindly follow below methods:
1. Disconnect all devices and cables from tv
2. Remove power cable from electric of tv and router for 15 minutes
3. Hold power button of tv for 10 seconds
4. Change network settings and dns as 8888 or 8844
5. Try to connect with your mobile hotspot internet
6. Change Internet 5ghz to 2.5 ghz
7. Try to connect wired cable and set dedicated IP for toshiba tv
8. Apply reset to factory settings
9. Update tv software and apps and try again
10. If above methods doesn’t work then
Need to change main board.
