Harrow, poor bastard, was just trying to get away and couldn't even do that. Didn't know you could walk right past his attack. Nice. Music was spot on. Hey, this question probably belongs somewhere else but the crazy volume of misinformation on the subject has driven me to asking the community directly... My friends and I got remnant two weeks ago and are really enjoying it. We just started an apocalypse playthrough today and rolled the Harrow on rhom. We want to achieve the alt kill to get the "lost harpoon". However, after 40+ attempts we can't convince him to drop into the position for us to remove the harpoon. We get one stagger after shooting his legs but can't achieve the second one. He just keeps on fighting until we almost kill him (at which point we deliberately die to reset) or he climbs into the ceiling and summons adds. Does anyone know the exact process we must follow to get the harpoon?
Try doing adventure mode separately on Rhom normal difficulty to save you some grief in trying to get the harpoon. Melee stuns the crap out of harrow. Look at some of my melee vids in the melee playlist. Lord of lightning is a great example. Harrow drops quickly to his knees. Hope it helps!
@@BoltJamison Yeah, I saw you melee stun him in one of your speed kill vids I watched earlier today. We ended up just killing him without the stun... I'll definitely try to roll it in adventure mode tomorrow. We simply saw the opportunity with all of us together and decided to try for a while on our apocalypse run (we're all pretty competitive/stubborn when it comes to this stuff). I really appreciate your reply (especially on a slightly older video). My friends and I will surely be consulting your videos frequently in the foreseeable future. Thanks for all the great build videos and tech advice man. This game is addictive and we're all hyped to get some speedruns going once we've learnt the boss sequences/moves a bit better. Any knowledge of a true "remnant 2" coming out?

0:28 :OOO And someone was wondering why we didn't allow devloop for our speedkills...shit is bananas. Those procs for the Ent kill too! Funnily enough all the quills kills seem legit by comparison, since the damage is split into 12 explosions it sort of averages out.

Just started doing Apocalypse runs and this video helped me tremendously. I'm currently running the Beam Rifle but with Hot Shot instead of Cold Spear, it lets me a be a little more agile and not have to worry about landing cold spears on all monsters. Cold Spear would definitely slap against bosses though. Thank you for the these videos! And what do you think the most powerful build/builds in the game are?
Oh nice good luck! There is no best build in the game. Everything is situational but some of my strongest builds can be found in my meta build playlist

Several people said this was the strongest build in the game for obvious reasons. Do you know if that one got nerfed? I would hope so lol
@@ShockwavesFTW Good luck using it. You will have to try 100's of tries before it procs. That's a meme build. I don't like using things that rely on RNG. Again, there is no strongest build. Particle accelerator can't pull every enemy into the black hole anyway. Keep that in mind

@@ShockwavesFTW the reduced firerate hurts automatics and shotguns (except sporebloom). Emp loop is for single shot weapons
