The first Bangladeshi to scale the Seven Summits, Wasfia has made it her purpose to brave these climbs for the sake of something larger - for the women of Bangladesh. Lyrical and poetic, this short documentary, shot entirely on an iPhone 6S, is a reflective character portrait that takes us from the depths of Wasfia's struggles to the highest peaks on the planet, as we explore what it means to pursue the unknown.

Wasfia nazreen..you really made us proud...Now world can see what Bangladeshi people can do ,, our women are contributing in every sector....yeah we don't have so called feminist society like others .but our women are coming and engaging with the mainstream by their quality which they earn with struggle...

It's sad to think that a guy (Ngima) who summited the Mt. Everest, just died in a motorcycle accident like that.
The title says it was shot on a phone, yet there's a reflection at 9:45 and you can tell it was filmed on a DSLR

Those who are complaining about not being shot on phone is missing the point entirely. Besides nowhere it mentions it was shot entirely on phone. And EVEN if that was true, nowadays phone quality are incredible and with professional quality touch of National Geographic editing it is entirely possible to make it real crisp.
Why do you guys let the small stuff bother you? Kindergarten mentality really for all the mighty and weighty projection on the internet.

I liked this film but don't see how it was filmed in any way on an iPhone. The reflection in her goggles was a bigger Canon body....
No that part was footage from Wasfia's camera
+Shebly Sadik Shemul What's the point of shooting on an iphone if they are going to use gigantic glidecam steadycam and all sort of professional stuff, might as well use a kickass camera.
Budget maybe? The camera isn't the only tool to help give some production value to the project.

Child shot at 9:07 is clearly not iPhone shot. iPhone has depth of field only on macro shots. this is definetely not a macro shot. don't get fooled , guys. if it was an iphone shot, then they used some iPhone lenses for sure.
Don't understand why u have to lie that it's shot entirely on iPhone :/ she even holds a DLSR at 9:44 . u can see it in a reflection.
Yeah, I thought the same thing too. I LOVED the video and I was amazed thinking that it was "shot entirely on an iPhone 6S" until I saw that reflection on her googles. Still a great video, just tricky advertising.
