I feel like I allowed my summer plants to stay in the garden far too long…my fall plants are so tiny. I’m hoping to get a nice collard greens harvest for Thanksgiving day! We’ll see what happens. 😂
    I love your hat!
    You got a-lot done. 👏

I think I did too. I have a strategy already for next year regardless of how hot it may be over summer to get some of my brassicas started on time. We experimented and we learned. 😊 Your collards will get there, especially if you guy’s experience some cold. They take off after that. And yes! I really love this hat. Thank you!

Good garden clean up my friend!! Chile, start your compost when you ready! That’s your garden!! I’m taking all my peppers out tomorrow because we are getting our first frost Monday night! It might even freeze. I am trying to put my summer/big garden to rest! So much to do in a short time!! I feel like I’m behind again, like last year!! Working full time does that! 🙄. Great video, thanks for sharing!!

Thanks Lisa! You’re doing great in your garden! It’s insane how quickly the weather is set to change. It’s been 80 degrees here these last few days in October. Nov 1st we drop down to 60s and 30/40 nights like someone is flipping a switch. I feel like I’m behind too, but I’m probably not. You probably aren’t either. It’s just the constant need to do something that makes it feel that way. For me, I need to figure out a rhythm because Dec is when I’m supposed to get my spring garden started beginning with my cabbage starts (technically that’s Oct, with onions), but I’ve literally felt like there was no break; at least not the way I thought. Tfw. :)

There is no break at all my friend! If you are gardening all 4 seasons, there is no break! Things will slow down between seasons, but in the slow time, you're planning for the next season! Gardening is a whole lot of work, but very rewarding!! I so Winter Sowing for Spring Brassicas, and I said I wasn't going to plant as many brassicas next Spring because just like how fast it goes from hot to cold, it goes from cold to hot here in Alabama. And the pests in Spring time will eat up your whole garden!@@palmsandsand
