To anyone who may be wondering how long from when they first pickup a guitar to when they would be able to play Wonderwall. First, learn the basics. Despite what most say, it is not a beginner song in the sense that you can pick up a guitar and learn it. Is it possible? Sure, anything is with enough practice, but you won't come out of this song having actually learned anything and will more than likely have picked up bad habits. I used Justin Guitar's course (it's free) and after 6 months I mastered all of the necessary chords to play this (and other songs). Justin basically said, so anyway, now you can learn Wonderwall lol. After mastering the basics it took me about a week to learn it. I started at .25 speed, and then ramped up from there as I started to master the song. Keep in mind it'll probably take most less time, but I didn't have a lot of time to take the course from Justin. I spent about 2 hours a week on his course and this included practicing, and I had a couple weeks off here and there too. This is a great song to learn, I know it's become a meme, but it actually does take skill to play. Learning this gets you pretty close to intermediate level, which I am now at. I spent 4 months just on mastering the F chord. With lots of yelling and saying I'll never touch the guitar again. They don't call it the F*** chord for no reason. I actually mastered most of the chords I learned within a week with 50 - 60 chord changes per minute if that gives you an idea of it's difficulty and to be fair I could play it on electric within the first week, but I wanted to learn it on acoustic for another song I wanted to play. My point is, enjoy this song while you can, because it only gets harder from here haha. I actually find myself coming back to this song as a refresher of my skills, plus I just really like the song lmao. It either gets hate because everyone that picks up a guitar usually wants to learn this song, or they're just hating on beginners because they apparently never were one... Play what you like, who cares what everyone else thinks.
just a reminder none of you are alone ! God is with you all and he will never leave you . you are loved and accepted by him and that will never change . God bless you all

Hey Dave, I really appreciate your tutorials. I've been learning guitar for about a year now, and I have been following your videos every time. You're by far the best guy on TH-cam and I just want to say, carry on with the great job man; I appreciate it!!
PLEASEEEE
Can you do beautiful by bazzi ft camila ?(fingerstyle )
Like so that he sees btw I looooove u
Thanks for all your great videos. I had a bunch of songs that i've learned long ago. Now it was time to update my knowledge to play them "right" and you do a really good job explaining and breaking down songs.
Glad to help!
My high E string drowns out the rest of the strings in this. Anyone else have that problem?
Yeah. Just play around with missing it a little or nicking it softer on the way by. His does too, if you listen.
I've been literally scrolling the comments to see if anyone has the same issue, my bottom e string sound so screechey and just kills the sound. Did u ever find solution?
The best wonderwall tutorial I’ve ever seen! Complete beginner to guitar and been trying to learn this for ages. Your video had it taught in an hour. Amazing stuff thank you for all the effort you put into these. Won’t be going to any other TH-cam channel for guitar stuff again!
the intro makes me 👁👄👁
Amazing lesson. So glad I’m stumbled upon your channel. Love the very clear instruction and visual aids. Next time I’m looking to learn a song will definitely start with your channel.
Bro your lessons are the best hands down! Please don't ever change the way you break down the songs and then play the songs at the end.
*casually pieces guitar together*
So anyway here's wonderwall
One of the most helpful tutorial I've ever watched!! I also loved how he casually put his guitar together.
time to prove my family wrong, i will master this song and wont be "talentless" anymore
One year later.. did you prove your point? 😏

It's easier if you use middle finger here instead of index finger. Then to move to A7sus4 you only need to put index finger on 4th string, instead of moving some fingers.
me: who thought i would never need callouses on my pinkie
this guy: so anyway heres wonderwall
Mine are shattered hurts so much
Your tutorials are literally the best on TH-cam. Can’t say how much they help, plus you do the full song! Thanks so much keep it up!!!

Dont look back in anger
you’re actually the best guitar teacher on youtube THANK YOU
Thank you 🙏🏼
I have an electric, yet I'm learning acoustic songs...
Doesn’t make that much of a difference :)
God bless you all
Thank you so much, i learned a lot from your tutorials. Keep it up!
