Do you think extremism comes from nowhere, or do you realise it stems from a history of marginalisation and delegitimisation of any moderate means. Doesn’t justify Hamas attacks but if Israel was actually interested in stopping them they wouldn’t be creating the conditions which rear new generations of radicals to further delegitimise the Palestinian cause. Fact is, each Hamas attack is a reichstag fire for further indiscriminate killing of Palestinian civilians.
