I haven't played a Dragon Age game in about 2 years I'm thinking about playing Dragon Age Origins again and him calling them Dragon spawn is infuriating
Enemy level's have something that's called a floor and ceiling system. They have a certain range of levels that they spawn as depending on your level, and if you level all the way to 25 and then visit a place for the first time they will be at their ceiling level. However, if you visit a place for the first time at a low level then they will be at the lower part of their range and not change. You can then go level up some place else then come back and kill them more easily.
I knew of this glitch already, but it took a while for me to level up so I was looking for an easier way. But I hadn't thought to put it on Nightmare ! I'm so stupid thank you for reminding me !
IT WORKS it really does work for the 360 it takes awhile but it does work I had to reload a ways back but it will be worth it! seriously thank you so much dude I was having trouble through most of the game because of my low level I didnt even fight that dragon from the cult :(
From what I read folks on the wiki this does t work for ps3 console so if you want the ps3 console version then look up the exploit for Elven Allied Supply Crates method. You are welcome and i hope it still works this year and if not...well...good luck looking for other methods. Update: So I took advantage of the Traps method at Lothering AND IT STILL WORKS...BEST METHOD OF ALL IN GAME!!! so... 😂😂🤣 to anyone who will do this I recommend turning down the volume for annoyance of repetitive of the dialog from her when turning it in several times and just put on your own music and playlist...plus make sure you have over 3 soverings at least so make a safe before the point of completing your origin story meaning strip your origin companions down before completing your origin story so you can make some of that good good momeys. Gl fellow gamers!!!
This doesn't seem to work anymore. There is an added dialog option now before the part where you say you have the blood but not the scrolls, after that if you mention the blood but no scrolls the only option when talking to him again is the "I'll get back to that." There is no repeat scrolls option sadly.
@@darield1172 Ah no that is perfect actually, because the PC version was given alot more updates/fixes then the PS3, (It literally runs at 15-20 fps most of the time) So im guessing it should still work on there... i'll check it out later ;)
@@pkinggd Ah well then It for sure still works on console if that's the abysmal framerate it runs at. At least you can get all the levelling done early.
You can do the same thing, with Allison in Lothering, make a shit ton of traps, then put level to Nightmare and keep giving her traps, that's an easy level up.

Still works Dec2019. Lvl 10 in 5 mins. XBox One. There isn't any indication you're gaining exp. Just keep an eye on the exp bar on the character tab or grind through the conversation with Duncan 250 times ;-) Maxed out to lvl 25 in an hour and a half.

if your doing this after you beat the game for a second or third character or achievs that's fine but if you do this stuff on your first playthru you might as well play cod because your ruining the experience and point of playing an rpg you really wanna be careful you can ruin your whole game experience as for using for the achievments lvl all classes to 20 etc its a time saver but id still rec just play the game its so good
I have a not updated system literally no updates what so ever. I've tried this technique multiple times and it only allows you to turn it in once. After you turn the quest in and get the exp from quest from Duncan and tell him I only have the vials of darkspawn blood not the warden scrolls. The second time. He says get on with it then and refuses to give exp more than once. The only additional exp I receive is when it is fully completed. Idk what I'm doing wrong any suggestions would be awesome.
Really useful since you get to lvl 25 in Origins playing legit... This game is already so easy even on nightmare so is there really a need for easing it further?
this appears to be patched on pc for ultimate edition. If you are looking for an exp/gold exploit, the trap quest in Lothering is repeatable. Buy trap ingredients for about 2 silver each and earn about 50 silver for each reward. a bit time consuming but its probably the best un patched way to gain gold/power fast for replays
yeah, it was free on xbox games with gold for july..it was nice experiecne, but playing this game after the witcher 3 and dragon age inquisition felt like driving a 1900 car :D
It'll work for xbox but not PS3, as it's been patched. On Xbox, go to your dashboard, go across to console settings, then to memory, then press Y on your hard drive, then press "Clear System Cache". Load the game back up but don't download patch. Should then work fine. I did this yesterday with no problem. Thumbs up if you want to. :P
Ain't working for me...After I talk to Duncan the first time the Quest updates and I no longer have the Option to say "No we only have the Darkspawn Blood..."
On the pc version do that and and add points to an Abb you don't use then hit reset hit back on the abb and you get extra points to spend you can go negitive

Some people find it fun to cheat, I know I do". I don't remember the scource, but it was like 5 years ago or something.
I un-patched it through the Game Files menu. Twice and it's still not working. I was thinking that maybe this issue was rectified on later disc manufacturing. I didn't buy the game until almost a year after it was released.

I have one question, i did this until i reached lvl 25, but its doesnt work later, its like im stuck in lvl 25 so i was like whatever, i changed back the difficulty and started doing the normal stuff, but im killing everyone but no XP comes!!! is it really possible to lvl up till 30?
how can people still do this when the disc or at least the newer discs if baught now a days is already patched with the 1.01 or 02 patch...because it always asks for the 1.03 even if you delete the game data file. So I don't know why anyone is even talking about it anymore when it isnt possible to do

My only issue with this is that if you level up it also level up your companions and specks then out so you dont get to customise their build

This glitch still works for the Xbox. Just did it for the warrior, mage, & rogue.

for this glitch to work you must look at your memory then dragon age and erase the pacthes for dragon age
