The honesty is exactly what we need in the church. People that have a problem with this need to understand that voicing sin is one step in getting it under control. Hiding sin keeps the weeds growing. Thank you JP for the message!!

This message brought so much wisdom. I feel called to start a Bible study with my coworkers (not all of them are believers) I have never lead a Bible study, and I don’t know if I am capable of this. I am far from perfection. I have been struggling to see what theme or what book or what content the Bible study should be about. I pray to God, he will provide. Since for some this is the first time hearing about Jesus, I thought I’d start with the holy trinity. Listening to this, Ephesians chapter 1 does a great job. It’s the second time I hear it today. First this video and the one from Grant.

I appreciate the honesty JP, however as a leader this has got to be something that it’s on lockdown and under control. I believe what Paul washer says it’s true, if you cannot control yourself and have the wisdom by the Holy Spirit to get away from these things, you haven’t reached the first rung of maturity as a Christian man. Praying for you 🙏

He did get away though.. even Jesus was tempted. Temptation is a part of our lives as Christians and I think it’s even more telling that he confessed it to everyone. JP has changed my life and relationship with God by being transparent in how he preaches. You may not like it, but I don’t see anything negative with him admitting he sinned and asking for forgiveness.

@@BritniStyron-ro4cz hey, he says that the thumbnails were might as well be called “porn” which tells they were explicit and him asking for forgiveness shows he fell into sin, again I understand how difficult this fight for purity is, and I really admire his openness to confess but as a leader he is held to a much higher standard not just by his church even Someone like me who tunes in weekly from Canada ! The Lord has used JP to help me a lot too, but he is also held to a higher standard to God according to scripture, If he knows being alone at a hotel is a weakness for him he should not be alone, he needs to have things in place where it does not allow him to fall. Scripture says to give zero opportunity for the flesh to gratify its desires. Pray for him and the elders that are there to keep him accountable

Wow dude.. out of all the things he shared that’s what you want to focus on. the lesson that he is teaching is about how worthless we are yet Jesus still willingly sacrificed himself and God still chose us, you want to focus on JP’s shortcomings? For that reason so many teachers quit from teaching when they show their humanity and folks are not willing to show compassion and grace.. I pray for you Sebastian that God will teach you grace and compassion.
Well done JP for teaching us that God still thinks we are worthy of saving even though we are really not.

@@soggybottom123 hey Robert, as the first comment on this video stated the verse in James that teachers will be judge more strictly. this habit left in unattended can spiral into an affair / divorce and that can be devastating for a church look at Carl lentz as an example. I tune in to this church weekly and wish nothing but the Lord blessing on them, but he needs to get a handle on sexual sin as a teacher he cannot be meddling with that. Thanks for your prayers I really appreciate it.

Do not, many of you, become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment.
