It's great to hear that! I aim to keep things simple and practical, but I also love experimenting with something new, be it a new gadget, new idea or new recipe; it gives me a sense of accomplishment every time.
Amazing video. Just came across your channel and loving the experience of watching you camp. The splash of wine on the fireplace was an awesome show. Also, appreciate that you value every grain of rice (the one you tipped inside the container that was on the edge) in a world of today where food is just wasted left, right and center. Lots of blessings to you. Keep such videos coming. Loved it. Take care.
Welcome to the channel, mate! I truly appreciate you noticing those small details in the video. It’s great to know that they resonate with you. Take care, and I’m excited to keep bringing you more videos that you’ll enjoy.
Really like the way you film and catching the essence of being with you at the camp …. well done 👍 I to am a great fan of cast iron cooking and clean mine as well straight after the meal by boiling water in it ,a few strokes of a stiff nylon brush ,and then some paper towel dipped in olive oil and wipe . I had to laugh at you eating the sunflower seeds as I picked up the Same habit during my many travels to Thailand . Another very relaxing video . Cheers 🍻
Thank you, mate. Cast iron truly is like an old friend. I love the textures and patina that develop on the surface over time-they’re like the glorious evidence of all the adventures we've had together, something we just don’t get with Teflon cookware. As for the sunflower seeds, I guess I picked up the habit from my parents, haha. Cheers!
another great video. Love your setups. Your tarp configurations are always new and aesthetically pleasing. Please do you have a link for the camp table and the camp rack, where you hang your cooking tools. Thank you for the hardworking of sharing your videos.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! The table was purchased from eBay (www.ebay.com.au/itm/256483754705?var=556658449793). Just a heads-up, it has "Hyperanger" printed on the tabletop, which is a bit odd, so I cover it with a table mat, haha. The hanging rack was bought from Temu (share.temu.com/suA2qzk9mbA). Hope this helps!
Absolutely love your work what do you do during the week i work in an engineering company love to load my car up and do the occasional camping trip locally i have and old ford f100 that i call my adventure machine love the planing process especially finding pretty spots to camp i have learned some great tips from you thanks for sharing your adventures
Thanks for the support! Just a regular guy with a normal life, squeezing in video editing at night. It's always great to hear that my videos inspire your next camping adventures. I'll keep the videos coming-happy camping, mate!
Sempre bom ter você por aqui, meu amigo. Vou dar uma olhada no fasso assado, e quem sabe você veja essa receita em um vídeo futuro. Até a próxima, amigo!
So sorry... one more video request 😁. Can you show us the Toyo Toolbox configurations. For example, it looks like the little steel tables with cork clamp in? Also what portable stove are you using? Thank you for your consideration.
No worries at all! I might do a community post soon about the toolbox configuration. The table trays you saw are actually the lids of a storage box, and I added furniture leg pads underneath so they can clamp into the edges of my toolbox. The stove I use is the "360 Degrees Furno Stove," which I picked up from a local store. It's nothing fancy, and you can easily put together a similar setup yourself!
Thanks so much, mate. You're always full of useful info. They are indeed chatty, but in a pleasant way-not like those noisy cockatoos, haha. I might start bringing my bird guide along when filming; there’s just so much to discover out there.
Hey! Sorry for not including it in the gear list. The model is the Thermacell Backpacker Mosquito Repeller (www.bcf.com.au/p/thermacell-backpacker-mosquito-repeller/542600.html?cgid=BCF08808). It runs on standard propane cartridges, and I find it's a great way to make use of cartridges that are too low for cooking but still too good to throw away. It works really well for keeping the bugs at bay!
Bro your channel will blow up 2x speed of Go4x4. You truly deserve all the followers bro. I really wish TH-cam recognises your work. You can beat any camping videos on any given day
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your support. I’m just enjoying the journey and sharing my passion for camping (and cooking, of course, haha).
Thanks for the reminder, mate. 7:57 I actually did put a thin piece of wood underneath this time because the sand was so soft that splitting the wood would have been tricky otherwise. But you're absolutely right-I need to take better care of my knife. I ended up cracking the wood handle, so in the next video, you'll see me using a new knife.🥲
This man is one of my favorite campers 😊😊😊 mabuhay watching from Philippines happy camping
Thank you so much! I'm honored to be one of your favorites. Mabuhay to you as well! Happy camping to you too, and I hope to bring you more adventures!

Hi! I've been enjoying your videos; very inspirational. I've been wondering what brand your roof bar is? Thanks!
Hi, thanks for watching! They are Yakima LockNLoad TrimHD bars.
Very soothing. Thank you for the video. BTW video looks amazing at night, what sort of camera do you use?
Thanks for watching! In this video I used Canon R8.
Gday cobber, the bird was a Currawong. They can be very chatty

Hey bro, what model is that thermacell? Is it really effective or do you think i look for that 99$ one in BCF

Magpie
Yep mate it could be, or its close relatives.
you need to treat your blades better cutting directly into sand or dirt hurts them use a piece of wood to prevent that
Thanks for the reminder, mate.
