I love this episode, and she is right about about not bringing up some stuff in psychiatry. She may want to go if she has some negative behavior issues but even some psychologists have been moving away from digging up old trauma if it isnt currently affecting you.

This situation about not knowing your real father. Its way more common than people would believe. In uni we went over a study in statistics, that touched on some numbers about infidelity and parenting. It was something like 1 in 5 groups of siblings have different fathers and don't know. Theres just so much stigma around cheating, and also its very common that people have multiple relationships early in life, and things like this are a reality that are commonly covered up once children come into the picture. Its often never spoken about again for sake of maintaining a healthy family.

So relatable, I grew up with a bunch of crazies too. Growing up you just kind of want normal stuff. And the way her mom needs confirmation of love but not actual love. ☠️

Mm, she said she’s getting rid of all the people who make her feel low energy in her life, then makes an exception for her mom. Her mom accused her of not loving her because she doesn’t love Andrea (it’s called projecting) and if she did it to the point to make you cry, it’s called manipulation. If you dated a man that pissed off your mom (your choice), she’s still making your dating choices.

I had to Google it too and found she was a Juno winner so Canadian. As a Canadian myself I need to know these things.
She referred to moving to Canada one time during the interview. She later referred to herself as Canadian when she said she was stuck in Vancouver during the pandemic, referring to the border and travel restrictions between the U.S. and Canada.
@@frankdtank7444 ya I got that after watching the entire video. Though there is a lot of Canadian celebrities, Canada is often overshadowed by the US, so my excitement got the better of me. Plus Ryan kept saying moving America in the first half of the interview
