@@MrJ567 Ballard has a tendency to reach on players with good character. Look at what happened with Kwity Paye, he's basically a bust, is undersized at 6'2" , and gets manhandled by 6'6" 330 lbs Left Tackles. Size matters and Kwity gets walled off by the bigger men so easily. Another Ballard fail.
How did this guys slip to 96? This guy is on another level athletically and the instincts seem to be there. This guy is showing first round level safety play at 20 years old and went at the back of the 3rd.

Except Cross is a little faster, with better ball hawking skills than collegiate Brian Dawkins. Plus Cross is more explosive at the collegiate comparison. Brian Dawkins was projected to be an eventual starter better than average. Cross is projected almost identical.
Think this year for him in Indy was a perfect red shirt.. learn and soak up what you can from Rodney McLeod think we are gonna see a lot more of this type of player next year
