With everybody showing how to move logs with expensive equipment, i enjoy learning how to manually do it cause it saves money and is its own workout in the process. Thank you for the information! 👍🏾💪🏾
I wish Amazon delivered log oxen. I just got that wood mizer can’t hook. But a horse or ox would be nice ha. Carful with your limbs. I used to fish from log barges in Oregon logs will kill us quick if we let them. Stay safe. I’ve jumped a wedge that same way, need to come up with a clamp on sure wedge for plank ramps. Thanks for the video. Time to move logs
Well done you have the simplicity and the Best set up I am making the same and I have seen a lot of other set up s thanks for taking the time to give us your setup.
Nice video... use a rope instead of a hose and use the Timber hitch knot with additional half hitch about a foot up the log then it'll never come off until you remove it then you can use that with your lever Pole.

Very good. Thank you for recording your process. My mill is on its way and I have 50 logs that I need to get positioned when I am ready.
Well done!!!

Great video
How did you get the logs in the pile to start with?
Thank you for sharing.
Impressive!
What is that tool that you’re using to move the logs? Is it a modified hookaron?
It’s a Stihl cant hook 60”
@@stoneguy28 thanks!
I’m confused as to why you don’t just use your log arch and your mower
Good question, most of the time I do. In this video I wanted to show it can be done by hand with simple tools.
