Sorry if it’s not relevant to the video but in your opinion what spec Mac would I need to handle my projects ? currently using a MacBook Air 2019 with i5 8 gb ram and it’s struggling in larger projects with lots of plugins / fx etc thanks
I'll have to send you the updated mix of one of the demos I sent you - took all the valuable advice you gave me, plus added some fun vocal chops. I do find it easier to do it in Quick Sampler + MIDI.
Has been an excellent Christmas with you Nathan. Have been messing with home DAW since I bought a Roland 8 track suitcase in the 90s and wrestled with finding good guidance all this while . . . till I found you this December 22! Really enjoying all your freely available videos like you wouldn't believe. Have learnt so much besides even these great tips in this video. Will be apart of your accelerator program soon but not yet. These videos are brilliant. AM a very happy subscriber. Well done you champion. Great information. Well presented. Thank you
Wow! That was so clever and has given me some awesome things to try out in logic and some great ideas as well, absolutely brilliant session, thank you.
Hi Nathan I wanted to say thank you so much as today I have recorded the first vocals I have ever been happy with. I've been following your vocal production tips and I really can't believe it, for once it doesn't sound like dog shit! I feel like I can actually do this!! Thanks so fricking much, you are an excellent teacher, the video productions are seamless and your teachings are extremely useful. Top man, I wish you all the absolute best X
always grateful for these awesome videos man❤️....one question -do we actually need 3 compressors on one track when you can compress it at the end with one compressor?...
I use serial compression (multiple compressors) so each doesn't work as hard. Each compressor compresses lightly so I can get more compression without it slamming. It does make a difference

I'm young lol. If you want the results then ya gotta do the things that provide them. I definitely agree that most are simply not detail oriented enough and that is very detrimental to their growth
What do you think? Who's gonna give this a shot?

Hey, yeah I really think 16GB is gonna help your a ton and actually get either an iMac or a MacBook Pro.
