You know everyone has a fanbase. Just because they're not talking about it all the time doesn't mean much. I'm an Engfa fan who loves this show and likes Ling and Orm just as much. And just because I'm not writing about it doesn't make my love for either of them lesser. I also like Freenbecky and Englot as a ship as you mention but nothing beyond their characters and collaborations. People are forgetting they're real people, not fictional characters.
@@emptyheart09 yeah, I'm really into everything that H'our channel does and Vicky and Nune from JPC series/studio/media. There's also a channel called Cham out of Vietnam. But I would never even consider looking up these actresses private lives, just the characters they play. This videos that pick apart every everything they do scares me. It's like real life for my wife and I, and our sapphic friends and family...not only can we not as so much lean into each other without people waiting to see what we di next, but my wife and sister have been accused of being a couple because they show each other alot of affection. I can't imagine how horrible these actresses feel knowing they can't hug they're female friends or colleagues without people asking 'are they or aren't they'. It scares me...
I get it. That's the most terrifying part of this whole thing. These people forget they're playing characters. Also, most of them are not queer and those who are are either not labeled or inexperienced. It's unfortunate coming into this world and figuring yourself out at the same time the rest of the world is telling you they know what you want or is better for you. It must be incredibly scary for some of them. That's what happened to Englot and we can all see how much that has destroyed their working relationship. They can't be in the same place without feeling awkward around each other. And now I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen to Ling and Orm. I wish them the best. And hope fans remember to ship responsibly and nothing more. I'm also seeing stuff on the internet about Ling having a boyfriend but she denied it because the fans were being intrusive so I never know but I wish they left them alone. Fans are responsible for creating hostile environments often ruining it for the rest of us. Every Fandom is the same
@@emptyheart09 So, three questions...Isn't Ling from China? And i have been led to believe that you can do time for being queer in China? And wouldn't it be in Ling's best interest to deny anything with a woman whether it's true or not if she can get in trouble back home? This is too close to home for comfort. We live in Texas now (because of work, from Colorado) where it isn't illegal to for us to be together, and we are even married now with everything that comes with it...BUUUUT...it isn't really safe to be telling people that we're married. I really hope that shippers aren't endangering Ling in the same way that telling the thruth down here does to us!!!
@@tymeamalyfe4353 Her dad is from Hong Kong and her mom is Thai. She grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Thailand when she was 17. She's been living in Thailand for 12 years and has made her career there. I don't think she risks much in China/HK.
