Idk why but John telling the custodian "good choice" after he just imagined a whole trap scene to punish him for stealing was so funny to me I just noticed on a rewatch that while John is designing The Rack (Timothy's trap from Saw 3) at the park he has what looks like a froyo cup next to him. I love that detail lol I have a feeling that this game's events is what set Amanda to start making unwinnable traps-- not just because they had a close call with Carlos being involved and John's life at stake, but also the fact that Gabriela, a person who Amanda probably saw as a kindred spirit due to her suffering from drug addiction, had been heartlessly killed after winning her game, which is why her death broke Amanda so badly.
Also remember Amanda early on say “that lady doctor deserves nothing” so she was already thinking about letting her die in an unfair game not that she didn’t deserve to die
This movie had so much dark humor that i actually laughed out loud at some points. But this was fantastic and im actually excited for the Saw franchise to continue
When Henry said that "I'm in complete remission", I felt a tiny wave of dread wash over me. It's bad enough that he told someone with a terminal medical condition, but the worse part is that he told John Kramer.
Saw II and III turned Jigsaw into a vigilante/antihero, Saw VI turned Jigsaw into an All-American hero for taking on the American healthcare insurance industry... Saw X turned Jigsaw into a victim who gets his bloody revenge.

John was keenly aware that he was asking these people to do things that if someone took too long to do, would kill them. Plus if any of them did manage a victory they would need immediate and professional medical attention. These aren’t traps you could take your time with, once you set your mind to go you had to GO so that they could get you help afterward. Just a thought!
I'd agree but then I realized what I loved about Saw X (seeing Amanda, Hoffman and John again) was all due to the first one so I think that'll always be the best because it paved the way for the rest

Yes, you're glowing and I've enjoyed your reaction. What still surprises me is the fact that Saw X is currently the most positive reviewed film of the series. Since most people and critics are not kind to them at all. The writers just recently admitted that killing off John and Amanda too early was a mistake and it showed here. I loved how this movie felt and started off. It was different from what we were used to. Hell, even the musical score is different. This was more of an emotional and plot driven story this time. While we do get our usual traps and violence, I liked that we got to see more of the relationship between John and Amanda. X also made me kind of start to like her again. 3 and 6 really ruined her character for me and for a long time, I've held such a disdain towards her but now, I'm warming up to her again but I will never fully forgive her for killing Kerry though. Oh man... I don't know which was my favorite trap. This one had alot of fun ones. Its tied with the brain trap, the eye trap or the wire one. Gabriela's trap and the bomb trap were cool too! Such a good movie man!
Saw X was awesome! Surprising amount of heart due to John’s battle against cancer but it’s also satisfying seeing him get revenge on the people that lied to him about the cancer treatment program
It was nice to see Amanda and John together and really show their bond. I was waiting with anticipation for Hoffman. Oh my God I want a movie with him.

I was so thrilled this movie turned out to be so good! Tobin deserved a chance to do some real acting and it was wild getting hit in the feels at a couple of points. One of the best Saw movies.
I’ve seen all of the og 1-7 Saw movies 100+ times and have 2 Saw tattoos and Valentina’s trap made me almost throw up in the theater , I had to go sit in the aisle of the theater bc I swore I was gonna puke, I’ve never reacted that way to a gory movie in my life but I refused to leave the theater bc I love Saw so much 😭😭
I had a similar reaction, lifelong fan of ultraviolet films I but had a lingering feeling of disgust and anxiety I hadn’t experienced before either. Brilliantly acted and ingeniously sadistic in how it’s produced. Bravo 🙌

I absolutely love the editing for Mateo’s trap. It is one of the few times that the crazy editing makes sense since he’s digging around in his head. It also mirrors the moment that John realizes that he was scammed, while he also mentions that he gets waves of pain due to the tumor.

Gabriellas trap was a radiation machine, not an x Ray. So it was like being face to face with the sun at its highest. She was burning but no one else would be feeling much as it focused on her

What i notice is john gives just enough time for the person to IMMENSELY dive in!! maybe 3-5 secs to cry and pouabout it.. the bone marrow girl and the brain matter guy would have won if they didnt spend the 1st 30 seconds crying and protesting!! John gives just enough time to dive right in, he never gives anyone a 30 second "grace period" to cry or build up bravery... the 1st girl only needed 3-5 seconds more for that scale to register!! That should have shown the other 3 "ok get ur shit together BEORFE the game begins, assume ur game is gonna be gnarly and expect the worse right now cuz wont have time to waste once the timer starts!" NO ONE seems to have gotten that memo tho. Also if u didn't catch on, the final trap was meant for John and amanda..they planned on getting captured and everything but didn't account for the kid showing up..John was just gonna sacrifice himself for the kid but the kid wasn't gonna let that happen. So the that blood trap more or less went exactly how they planned it with the exception of the kid taking Amandas role..the kids bravery made the whole thing go as planned..
I’m a lukewarm fan of the franchise. When I saw the trailer for this, I was really interested for some reason. As I watched this in the theater, I realized what made me interested in this one is how big of a fan of the John Wick franchise. It was with Hoffman’s line about of all the people Adam could cheat, he picked John. It made me think of Viggo’s comment to Iosef about how he stole John’s car and killed Daisy.

I loved your saw movies and cobra kai series reactions. Saw is also my favorite horror movie. I usually don't enjoy horror movies anymore because I don't believe in supernatural stuff, so ghost or demons don't scare me and movies about nihilistic, psychopathic killers just depresses me. Saw was different. It had a message about valuing your life. It is so smart to turn a nihilistic genre into a scary but a meaningful story.
the guy at the end must pass his test. Everyone who died in that bathroom stayed in that bathroom over the course of the series, his body was nowhere to be seen in the saw movies
I do love that they were so set on making another, proper saw movie that they contrived this whole midquel. It's so ridiculous and so blatantly for the fans. Everyone looks older than they should but we don't care. It's just so fun to see the band back together again!
I remember going to see Saw X (which is rated 18 here in Britain) at Cineworld Leicester Square in London. I drank a lot of water to get through the bone marrow trap scene. I had trained myself to handle graphic violence over many years before, but even then, the scene was a bit more than I was used to. But I managed to handle it, just. The water probably helped. Unfortunately, I then had to get up and use the toilet right when Cecilia disembowels Valentina's corpse (I had also eaten a lot of salty popcorn, which probably didn't help either). I was worried that others might notice me and think that I was leaving because I couldn't handle it. So when I returned, I made an X-shape with my arms as I returned to my seat! I then watched the film right to the end.

28:33 I could be wrong about this but I think the tool used here is an optical drill (guessing on the word). The doctors use is to scoop dust and debris from people's eyes. The doctor told me about it before using it on me when I had aluminum shavings imbedded in my cornea. With a flick of the thumb, the drill starts spinning and as a safety feature, if the drill presses too hard on the cornea, it stops spinning.
I'm honestly hoping they'll do a follow up to this movie. Making John an anti-hero and keeping Tobin Bell in the spotlight is key to keeping the franchise working rather than trying to shoehorn him in after his death.

They considered using cgi to make john and amanda look younger considering how long its been since both characters were killed. The actors did so well they didnt want to alter the performances by doing that.
I think they went way too hard on John’s “sick” makeup since in Saw 2 (his final stages of life) he looked much younger and healthier. They should have went easy on the “cancer patient” makeup in this movie.
Ive been a fan of Saw since the first one and have watched every film outside of Spiral because i have no desire to watch it. Im a huge fan of the scores by Charlie Clouser as it helps set the atmosphere of the films and i feel his music is a character itself, and i own practically every score besides Spiral as i havent bought it yet because ive been Binging this movies score with Abandoned, Blood Board, Hello Valentina and Zepp X being my favorite tracks. Both Abandoned and Blood Board add so much weight to their respective scenes especially Abandoned, and i feel that Charlie Clouser is as integral as the key players in production as i feel it wouldn't be the same without his work. I was hesitant on seeing Saw X at first seeing the trailer but when i saw it was digitally released early i picked it up and glad i did. I loved seeing the human side of John like we havent seen before and seeing his relationship with Amanda , and you couldnt help but feel for John when he realized he's been cheated out of hope he had, and honestly i laughed too like a fiend when i saw the players being abducted and be tested because they screwed John over. "Of all the men to cheat, and you picked John Kramer? I'd call that Epic bad luck"
John's plan was to take the bloodboarding, but it was supposed to be with Amanda. Had it been with Amanda, they'd have been able to split the torture between the two of them rather than John taking most of the blood to spare Carlos.
the x ray trap is a hot lamp lol. it's actually the one they used in the scene when john arrived to meet the "doctors". you can see someone adjusting it during the meet. he used it as a small educational lesson on medical procedure (the same as he did with all of them) so even though it was just frying her it was still a teaching moment about medicine

It always depends on the land, or where the potential traps can be assumed. This was in Mexico so it was a time based trap to setup. So if they had more time? Well definitely, the traps would've been better for certain types of people or murders.
when i watched this in theaters i knew what was coming the entire time from the trailer and i still sobbed when he found out the truth :( also idk why they gave subtitles for the spanish in theaters and not on the VOD version cause everyone i’ve watched react to it has no idea what they’re saying here’s a summary: when kramer kidnaps diago he says “to hell” when valentina is talking to that guy she’s basically saying she won’t have s*x without getting paid first and he says he won’t pay in the vet office, mateo tells gabriella he won’t be her drug dealer anymore
My personal favorite in this franchise is Jigsaw. I know a lot of people don’t like that one but I respect everyone’s opinions. And besides, when Saw 3D and Spiral exist, Jigsaw definitely can’t be the worst in the franchise. My ranking is Jigsaw,2,1,3,X,5,6,4,3D,Spiral.

I went to see this with my sister and I loved every minute of it. My favorite SAW movie since the first one. One of the best in the franchise
saw x is by far my favorite saw out of the whole franchise. it has a more cohesive story plot behind it and somewhat made john the good guy

Gabriellas trap was a radiation machine, not an x Ray. So it was like being face to face with the sun at its highest. She was burning but no one else would be feeling much as it focused on her
@@Velanteg in the intro speak he give he talks about the radiation treatment he had being harsh, and the machines aren't to be messed with, the one hanging in her trap was the one from the room they 'treated' him in. It was still there when he went and found it abandoned.
I would agree with everyone here she is my favorite saw reaction TH-camr too and to be honest someone who I had a crush on when I first saw her for probably saw 1 reaction and I have always look at her reactions to stuff that interest me. Everyone hate spiral even me I enjoy saw x so much thought when I finally watch the 4k Blu-ray last night. Lionsgate needs to release all of them on 4k I will buy them in a heartbeat. Hey Angela if you see these comment you were a part of the special features on the saw x 4k Blu-ray along with some other TH-camrs the director was talking about the fans and how much he love us.
What i notice is john gives just enough time for the person to IMMENSELY dive in!! maybe 3-5 secs to cry and pouabout it.. the bone marrow girl and the brain matter guy would have won if they didnt spend the 1st 30 seconds crying and protesting!! John gives just enough time to dive right in, he never gives anyone a 30 second "grace period" to cry or build up bravery... the 1st girl only needed 3-5 seconds more for that scale to register!! That should have shown the other 3 "ok get ur shit together BEORFE the game begins, assume ur game is gonna be gnarly and expect the worse right now cuz wont have time to waste once the timer starts!" NO ONE seems to have gotten that memo tho. Also if u didn't catch on, the final trap was meant for John and amanda..they planned on getting captured and everything but didn't account for the kid showing up..John was just gonna sacrifice himself for the kid but the kid wasn't gonna let that happen. So the that blood trap more or less went exactly how they planned it with the exception of the kid taking Amandas role..the kids bravery made the whole thing go as planned..
I’m a lukewarm fan of the franchise. When I saw the trailer for this, I was really interested for some reason. As I watched this in the theater, I realized what made me interested in this one is how big of a fan of the John Wick franchise. It was with Hoffman’s line about of all the people Adam could cheat, he picked John. It made me think of Viggo’s comment to Iosef about how he stole John’s car and killed Daisy.
Everyone hated Hoffman by the end of his run but everyone cheered so loud when he popped up gotta give him credit no? 😅btw this girl has the best reactions to all the saw movies…love it

I loved your saw movies and cobra kai series reactions. Saw is also my favorite horror movie. I usually don't enjoy horror movies anymore because I don't believe in supernatural stuff, so ghost or demons don't scare me and movies about nihilistic, psychopathic killers just depresses me. Saw was different. It had a message about valuing your life. It is so smart to turn a nihilistic genre into a scary but a meaningful story.

I do love that they were so set on making another, proper saw movie that they contrived this whole midquel. It's so ridiculous and so blatantly for the fans. Everyone looks older than they should but we don't care. It's just so fun to see the band back together again!

Saw X doesn’t take place before the first one. It takes place between movie one and movie two in the series.
Fun fact the barista that gives John his coffee, is a cameo by a Tiktoker called Jiggysawgirl,her thing is all about horror and the Saw franchiae
I remember going to see Saw X (which is rated 18 here in Britain) at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.
I drank a lot of water to get through the bone marrow trap scene. I had trained myself to handle graphic violence over many years before, but even then, the scene was a bit more than I was used to. But I managed to handle it, just. The water probably helped.
Unfortunately, I then had to get up and use the toilet right when Cecilia disembowels Valentina's corpse (I had also eaten a lot of salty popcorn, which probably didn't help either). I was worried that others might notice me and think that I was leaving because I couldn't handle it. So when I returned, I made an X-shape with my arms as I returned to my seat! I then watched the film right to the end.
I`ve watched yuor reactiion to this video for like 7 times and I still like it.
But I haven`t got my own Saw X video yet here in Norway.

28:33 I could be wrong about this but I think the tool used here is an optical drill (guessing on the word). The doctors use is to scoop dust and debris from people's eyes. The doctor told me about it before using it on me when I had aluminum shavings imbedded in my cornea. With a flick of the thumb, the drill starts spinning and as a safety feature, if the drill presses too hard on the cornea, it stops spinning.

I'm honestly hoping they'll do a follow up to this movie. Making John an anti-hero and keeping Tobin Bell in the spotlight is key to keeping the franchise working rather than trying to shoehorn him in after his death.

They considered using cgi to make john and amanda look younger considering how long its been since both characters were killed.
The actors did so well they didnt want to alter the performances by doing that.

I think they went way too hard on John’s “sick” makeup since in Saw 2 (his final stages of life) he looked much younger and healthier. They should have went easy on the “cancer patient” makeup in this movie.

Ive been a fan of Saw since the first one and have watched every film outside of Spiral because i have no desire to watch it. Im a huge fan of the scores by Charlie Clouser as it helps set the atmosphere of the films and i feel his music is a character itself, and i own practically every score besides Spiral as i havent bought it yet because ive been Binging this movies score with Abandoned, Blood Board, Hello Valentina and Zepp X being my favorite tracks. Both Abandoned and Blood Board add so much weight to their respective scenes especially Abandoned, and i feel that Charlie Clouser is as integral as the key players in production as i feel it wouldn't be the same without his work. I was hesitant on seeing Saw X at first seeing the trailer but when i saw it was digitally released early i picked it up and glad i did. I loved seeing the human side of John like we havent seen before and seeing his relationship with Amanda , and you couldnt help but feel for John when he realized he's been cheated out of hope he had, and honestly i laughed too like a fiend when i saw the players being abducted and be tested because they screwed John over.

I was so used to your usual intro and was so caught off guard when the music changed, but it's so fitting! It set the mood immediately.
John's plan was to take the bloodboarding, but it was supposed to be with Amanda. Had it been with Amanda, they'd have been able to split the torture between the two of them rather than John taking most of the blood to spare Carlos.
the x ray trap is a hot lamp lol. it's actually the one they used in the scene when john arrived to meet the "doctors". you can see someone adjusting it during the meet. he used it as a small educational lesson on medical procedure (the same as he did with all of them) so even though it was just frying her it was still a teaching moment about medicine

It always depends on the land, or where the potential traps can be assumed. This was in Mexico so it was a time based trap to setup. So if they had more time? Well definitely, the traps would've been better for certain types of people or murders.

My personal favorite in this franchise is Jigsaw. I know a lot of people don’t like that one but I respect everyone’s opinions. And besides, when Saw 3D and Spiral exist, Jigsaw definitely can’t be the worst in the franchise. My ranking is Jigsaw,2,1,3,X,5,6,4,3D,Spiral.

6:15-7:40 What you actually seen was called 'Eye Vacuum Trap'. According to Saw Wiki Fandom, that trap was actually the 2nd Dream sequence, similar to the 'Pain Train Trap' of Jill Tuck's nightmare is Saw 3D.
