‘Rifle-aim’ is basically The ‘Legacy/Alternate’ Control Scheme for consoles. Minus mouse precision of course. I’ve been using this since launch. It just felt more natural to me to use rifle-aim.
@Johnny not when using helicopters or jets for Rifle aim. I only sometimes invert it for helicopters when I don’t care about aiming like I’m flying a transport air vehicle.
The helicopter dog fight in 2042 also feels so different from BF4. in 2042 TTK is longer. and more important the map is bigger, helicopters are faster, minigun ballistic trajectory is 2 beams with large scatter, all these makes dog fight longer and makes wide maneuvering the key of triumph. You can do many tricks to entice the night bird who sneak attacked you to a bad position at lower altitude and then shoot him from best angle when you can land more bullet to it or the pilot. Only the collective pitch delay ruins half the fun of flying.
Top video bro, just a quick question I play on default settings and find rolling your minibird while shooting the miniguns helps significantly with reg would you agree? or is it just some placebo feeling? Thanks
Its not reg, by rolling your micro adjusting the miniguns, so you land more shots, it allows you to focus more on the 1 beam when u roll on default. But it doesn't improve the reg it just helps you aim.

We might need an updated video now because DICE changed all the sensitivity settings to match those of previous BF games
I've always used mouse aim for flying in the BF series, as it just felt more natural to me. Why did you prefer default aim in older titles? Was it because mouse aim took too long for turning?
I didn't prefer default in the old titles its just what I was used to, I had used it for years and gotten very good with it, but when I discovered rifle aim I realized how much better I could be with it.
for me so far the default feels really good im only a few days into battlefield games but so far it feels very easy to get around between buildings an trees or the ice valley on that ice map its very fun going real fast through there and the controls feel good so far but killing people with the miniguns is so hard right now im able to lock onto them pretty well but i guess i have to aim to the left or right so the stream of bullets hits them (the circle reticle is a lie ?) im not sure yet ...dog fighting another nightbird is the most difficult and its so tilting when they just follow me around with the lock on missles cause i just want to have fun killing infantry an flying fast
the way you are able to snap to different targets with rifle aim is crazy though lol so i may try this a little longer to see what its like getting good at it.

Could you also make a video about flaring? How silly it might sound, but i dont know when to flare and when not since the missle coming/lock on warnings are bugged. Many streamers, including you, dont flare even though they dont have anything like a building as cover to dodge the missle but just wait and let the warning diassapear...
In a nutshell when to flare you just need to learn the lock on types, and their audio cues, for example a Sundance grenade gives an instant "threat sound", it instantly goes to the missle incoming sound no buildup, so that's when I know its a Sundance nade and I can outrun it or ignore it. When there is a buildup, then the incoming noise I know its either a heat seeker or a stinger so ill flare and run, but some players counter this, they will use a Sundance nade then fire a rocket at you to mask the original sound, or a soflam can do the same and make u think that, its all about learning the threats and the current status of the game.

Switching to pc, would you recommend starting out with rifle aim on bf4?
After using default for 6 years I realized how much better rifle aim is in the long run, so I recommend using it yes.
first try was feeling super weird haha.. but i guess after a while it actually should work much better atleast on 2042 to just sometimes take a chopper and fly around
Vehicle mouse aim sensitivity (22) and aircraft (100) still the same or did you adjust it after all the updates/patches?
What is your mouse dpi?
Helicopter and aircraft sens @ 100, Vehicle sens is 13% 800 DPI thats all thats different

Helo..which one is more.precise aiming when 1 v 1 with nightbird.. inverted or non inverted? Im very happy b3cause recently managed myself to use rifle aim when flying nightbird after years of flying with default setting since bf4...from there i can farm infantry quite well but i realise somthing that everytime i wnet dogfight with some good pilot both with nightbird, 90% of the time i will lose.. i am very frustrated becasue i tot when alreqdy using rifle.aim i can win most.dogfight... is that because im still using inverted vertical movement..? Please help.. tq.
Inverted wont matter, thats just a preference thing, u still need to practice movement and dodging+leading.
@@x8reaps thanks for replying.. from the video, i see you are using non inverted flight movement.. and it look way better than "inverted" from my point of view.. i guess, after work i'll be changing my setting to non inverted.. and repeat that pain process and suffering of rewiring my brain to adapt to non inverted movement😆. same like from default to rifle aim.. i do suffered.🤣
@@thanos9880 if u like inverted its fine, just because im using non inverted doesnt mean u have to, the inverted vs non inverted is purely a preference, it wont damage your aim.
wdym by focusing on a beam ? the light of the shot ? or a part of the vehicle ? (im french)

Delete battlefield 2042 folder in documents it will remake it but all your settings will wipe, so u will have to do them all again.. :/

mouse aiming for me in heli's is messed up right turns left and left turns right how do i fix this
Go into documents and delete the battlefield 2042 folder, u will have to redo all ur settings also make sure that U put the correct settings and not the wrong way around
