They actually want us to first pay attention to what is said, see if we are able to grasp anything at all, and then go deeper and get to the real meaning. As per bphs 7th chapter 2nd sloka from R.Santhanam (Ranjan publications) it's about D-10 chart .. Sage Paraashaara says " Dashaamshe Mahatphalam" here my translation is the dasha = 10 , amsha = portion , Mahat = large , great , big , phalam = fruit , reward , end product ...therefore we can say 10th portion chart for great or large fruits ... Question is greater fruit of previous lifetimes actions upto this life time date of birth time place etc? Paarashaara doesn't even give hint about profession or career if that was the case he would have told " Mahatkarma" then why all the astrologers give this chart as career or profession?
