It’s not the double snowball, it’s the ice chilling roar thing that had a certain radius, and the double snowballs just slow your food down, and does a bit of extra damage. So the damage comes from the ice roar. Not the double snowball. But the double snowball still helps a bit. Sorry for the long comment
