Honestly the saddest part about it is that everyone knows how popular they would’ve been and how they’d be one of the top groups if they didn’t disband. I wasn’t that into pristin when they debuted, loveddd this song but didn’t really follow them much, though I slowly grew into them. they did not train for years, experienced hardships for years, worked hard for years just for them to disband that easily. they honestly have everything, from the visuals to singing and dancing skills. this group was a whole package and could've been one of the most famous girl groups by now. they deserved so much better. imagine letting go a group with so much potential, ya pledis can relate.
Let’s be honest, if Pledis has good management and treated their artist right they could be a really big company. Like After School was really big back in the days and had a stable fan base in Korea. But they disappeared without a trace. Then Nuest, their debut was legit the most viewed for quite a while and still a bop but Pledis was like okay Japan here you go. And seventeen, their biggest group is one of the most popular in Korea and well known internationally too. AND THEY SELF PRODUCE. Pristin won ROOKIE of the YEAR and had so much pre debut hype and potential. But Pledis was like bye even though we trained you for years. Like Pledis... you need some serious help. All of their artists could have, and would have have made it big but Pledis gives up too quickly for no good reason.

History to PRISTIN before they debut : What I like about PRISTIN is that they had some amazing pre-debut activities that made us know them and discover their talents, it was much better than just a rookie group who debuts without any previous knowledge of them. PRISTIN members were on survival show Produce 101 before they debut. 7 Out of the 10 members joined the show. Nayoung, Roa (Minkyeong), Kyungwon (Yuha), Eunwoo, Rena (Yebin), Kyulkyung (Pinky) and Xiyeon (Siyeon). Sungyeon joined survival show Girl Spirt, a show for girl groups main vocals. They were Pledis representatives amongst other 94 girls from different agencies and some didn't belong to an agency. All of them made it after the 1st round of elimination, in the 2nd round (top 35) Minkyeong ranked 40 and Kyungwon 42. After that in the 3rd round (top 22) Yebin ranked 29 and Siyeon 25. At the last ranking Eunwoo got 17 or 21 I'm not sure. Pinky got 6 and Nayoung 10 and made it to I.O.I Highest rankings they got : Nayoung 9 Minkyeong 29 Kyungwon 37 Euwnoo 12 Pinky 3 Yebin 20 Siyeon 17 After Produce 101, they were having the pre-debut name PLEDIS Girlz. They released the pre-debut digital single WE without Nayoung and Kyulkyung, now they released the OT10 version in their album. And they did weekly concerts for a couple of months. They had nice things like unique singing and dancing performances, member days, and they invited some people from Produce 101 too. They also revealed some of their songs there. Most of the times Nayoung and Kyulkyung couldn't go to the weekly concerts because they were working with I.O.I but they did go there sometimes when they had time. After that they uploaded the singing or rapping covers they did at their concerts to youtube in the Pledisartist channel. They also made 4 dancing & singing covers of popular groups with Nayoung and Kyulkyung, Siyeon couldn't participate at the time because she had injury but she played the MC role. They also did a show called HI&HIGH. They were and still are also very active on Vlive. I think these are very good things that made their fans love them and know more about them and know their talents. They performed 4 songs before debut : WE, Roller Coaster, Running and Another Promise. Other than WE and Running the other 2 songs are not released yet. Also what I love about them is that they composed and wrote their whole album. They are still teenagers but they are very professional at singing and dancing. Wee Woo is a fun and funky song that is not meant to showcase all their talents but I really love this song. I hope people look up them on Produce 101, Girl Spirit, their weekly concerts, their covers and all of that if they want to know more about them~^^

I'm not quite sure how to put it, but Pristin literally looks like those group of friends who have amazing adventures and hang out together after school, and on weekends. For example, 2:48 they're all outside this food restaurant(2:50 they're inside!), like a part-time job for them, 1:08 they meet up during the break after class, 2:22 looks like a saturday sleepover etc. I've never seen a group that gives off this vibe. Each member is shown at different places (like in school, at the gym, the laundry room, in the streets, in a restaurant etc.) and each of them doing different things. It's like friends who each have different personalities, different goals, interests, situations, etc. but they make up 1 group together. I know that in almost all kpop mvs the members are all doing different things and whatnot, but I just don't get this "group of best friends after school" vibe from them idk why lol I'm literally going to stan Pristin just because they look like such awesome people to be friends with haha

Take Umji of Gfriend and Mina of gugudan, they have become more loved recently not only for their weight loss, but people acknowledge their strong work ethic. Honestly they had no other choice. No activities = no income. Idols don't get paid a minimum base income. Without any scheduled activities, they literally make no money.
Ay Linh She and Nayoung were truly team players who were not greedy for the limelight, in fact the whole of Pristin are selfless people. It's a shame YMC exploited that and didn't give them the proper treatment they deserved during IOI.

Let’s be honest, if Pledis has good management and treated their artist right they could be a really big company.
Like After School was really big back in the days and had a stable fan base in Korea. But they disappeared without a trace.
Then Nuest, their debut was legit the most viewed for quite a while and still a bop but Pledis was like okay Japan here you go.
And seventeen, their biggest group is one of the most popular in Korea and well known internationally too. AND THEY SELF PRODUCE.
Pristin won ROOKIE of the YEAR and had so much pre debut hype and potential. But Pledis was like bye even though we trained you for years. Like Pledis... you need some serious help.
All of their artists could have, and would have have made it big but Pledis gives up too quickly for no good reason.

History to PRISTIN before they debut :
What I like about PRISTIN is that they had some amazing pre-debut activities that made us know them and discover their talents, it was much better than just a rookie group who debuts without any previous knowledge of them.
PRISTIN members were on survival show Produce 101 before they debut. 7 Out of the 10 members joined the show.
Nayoung, Roa (Minkyeong), Kyungwon (Yuha), Eunwoo, Rena (Yebin), Kyulkyung (Pinky) and Xiyeon (Siyeon). Sungyeon joined survival show Girl Spirt, a show for girl groups main vocals.
They were Pledis representatives amongst other 94 girls from different agencies and some didn't belong to an agency.
All of them made it after the 1st round of elimination, in the 2nd round (top 35) Minkyeong ranked 40 and Kyungwon 42. After that in the 3rd round (top 22) Yebin ranked 29 and Siyeon 25. At the last ranking Eunwoo got 17 or 21 I'm not sure. Pinky got 6 and Nayoung 10 and made it to I.O.I

After Produce 101, they were having the pre-debut name PLEDIS Girlz. They released the pre-debut digital single WE without Nayoung and Kyulkyung, now they released the OT10 version in their album. And they did weekly concerts for a couple of months. They had nice things like unique singing and dancing performances, member days, and they invited some people from Produce 101 too. They also revealed some of their songs there. Most of the times Nayoung and Kyulkyung couldn't go to the weekly concerts because they were working with I.O.I but they did go there sometimes when they had time. After that they uploaded the singing or rapping covers they did at their concerts to youtube in the Pledisartist channel. They also made 4 dancing & singing covers of popular groups with Nayoung and Kyulkyung, Siyeon couldn't participate at the time because she had injury but she played the MC role. They also did a show called HI&HIGH. They were and still are also very active on Vlive.
I think these are very good things that made their fans love them and know more about them and know their talents. They performed 4 songs before debut :
WE, Roller Coaster, Running and Another Promise. Other than WE and Running the other 2 songs are not released yet.
Also what I love about them is that they composed and wrote their whole album. They are still teenagers but they are very professional at singing and dancing. Wee Woo is a fun and funky song that is not meant to showcase all their talents but I really love this song. I hope people look up them on Produce 101, Girl Spirit, their weekly concerts, their covers and all of that if they want to know more about them~^^

Let's add to the fact that Xiyeon has been a trainee for 9 years under Pledis and featured in After School's Bang. I'm not quite sure how to put it, but Pristin literally looks like those group of friends who have amazing adventures and hang out together after school, and on weekends. For example, 2:48 they're all outside this food restaurant(2:50 they're inside!), like a part-time job for them, 1:08 they meet up during the break after class, 2:22 looks like a saturday sleepover etc. I've never seen a group that gives off this vibe. Each member is shown at different places (like in school, at the gym, the laundry room, in the streets, in a restaurant etc.) and each of them doing different things. It's like friends who each have different personalities, different goals, interests, situations, etc. but they make up 1 group together. I know that in almost all kpop mvs the members are all doing different things and whatnot, but I just don't get this "group of best friends after school" vibe from them idk why lol

I think that for the longevity of our beloved maknae in the industry, she must to some extent meet some standards of korean body image. With her strong work ethic, I'm sure it is no problem for her. Take Umji of Gfriend and Mina of gugudan, they have become more loved recently not only for their weight loss, but people acknowledge their strong work ethic. It is also not unhealthy to lose a small amount of weight, I am not asking for her to go on a crash diet.

Honestly they had no other choice. No activities = no income. Idols don't get paid a minimum base income. Without any scheduled activities, they literally make no money.

I honestly don’t really understand why the rest of the members decided to renew. Pledis is incapable of managing any group or artist. I mean, look at NUEST. If it weren’t for PRODUCE101S2, they probably would’ve been locked in the dungeon until they disbanded. I’m generally surprised those three members still have trust left in that company...
You know, I wouldn’t have even minded if they pulled a HIGHLIGHT act and left the company to redebut together. It’s really sad, especially as an IOI fan :(
