- I’ve always wondered how the fight between shanks and kaido went down before shanks arrived at marine Ford. I was really hoping Oda would show us a sneak peak in the manga, but that happened. So as a super fan, I decided to animate a fight between shanks and kaido. Share, enjoy and let me know what you think.

People fail to realize that this fight is closer than most people think. Shanks has the superior haki and speed, yes! But Kaido is an haki master himself, with superior natural durability, and physical strength. Not to mention an OP Devil Fruit.
Personally, i would say kaido takes it but it could go either way, extreme diff.

Yea that’s y the Yonkos are relevant to each other Shanks is a glass cannon while Kaido is a tanky Brawler . Kaido will eat those divine departures but on the other hand shanks not tanking too much thunder baguyas .

Kaido was cut by Oden and Zoro.
Neither of which is even close to Mihawk, and Shanks wad considered Mihawks rival.
Even without the arm, Kaido would get slapped by a couple of named attacks from Shanks.

Let's be real, there was no all out fight between Shanks and Kaido. Shanks arrived at Marinford with his crew unscathed and much quicker than anticipated, and Kaido when introduced, had no injuries apart from the scar he got from Oden. Them two fighting is just fanon, and from the information we have available, navy intelligence speculated a skirmish in the New World, but they were unsure.
The most probable scenario is that Shanks intercepted Kaido getting ready to come over, they had a standoff and came to an agreement. Maybe Shanks bribed him with weapons, alcohol, or both. Kaido has never backed down from a challenge, and was willing to die for a chance of a good fight or meaningful death, so it's nonsense to suggest that he got beat or vice versa, since both were well and healthy afterwards.
Shanks was the former youngest Yonko and in less years has a bounty close to Kaido's one
And people still think he couldn't handle Kaido who got beaten by Shanks student

This fight should be more like Roger vs Shirohige. A draw, none of them would knock the other, but fight very close. Or at least that's what I think.
But Shanks somehow ended his fight with Kaido and went to Marine ford. So there is a high chance in this fight been accurate.

Shanks and Kaido have actually alreaduy fought. Shanks is the who stopped him from going to MarineFord all the way back in Pre-Timeskip.
They didn't fight, shanks prevented him from going there only, its because kaido wanted to fight the WG but didnt want to waste his time on shanks, so decided to go back. No physical altercation.
@@robleyusuf6454ikr, like people just asume they fought but thats never been confirmed. Besides shanks arrived to marineford unharmed, thats more than a hint to me that they didnt fought at all. Maybe one clash to broke the sky cause thats cool, but then they just talked.

Kaido o maior usuário de haki abaixo da Big Mom, e o monobraço o maior supostamente usuário de haki da nova geração... Todos em marineford teria percebido, sentido, parado para observar por um momento a forte liberação de haki em algum Horizonte mar a fora. No nuca houve confronto entre os dois... Se não, o monobraço teria perdido o outro braço.

Yeah kaido got scared by an attack which is less powerful than divine departure lol. Shanks acoc and using any named attack will be very lethal for kaido remember that. Not to mention kaido can't use observation haki since shanks neglect others observation haki.so shanks would keep on landing his attacks.
