Excellent - that engine is a peach! You are a rare and valuable commodity my friend - young, enthusiastic, talented and capable. You have a very bright future if you stay in this industry - you are not just fixing bikes - you are saving them for posterity - you and your Parents should be very proud!! Will.
Nice to hear a C15 once again. A couple of points on starting, which will make it easier for you. Tickler. Press it down and hold it down, until petrol (gas) flows out. When you kick it, do not twist the throttle halfway or wide open. Open the throttle 1 1/16 to 1/8 and just hold it there as you kick.Sometimes you might need a little more. Each bike is differant. When you try and start with the throttle half open or more, your choking the engine with air. When you tickle the gas you're creating a rich mixture which is what you want for a cold engine This applies to all Amal carbs. Happy riding and as we say in Ireland "Keep it between the hedges"
Love ya video love ya style. As regards ignition switch Centre is off then depending on how yours is wired L or R for ignition on and the other way for emergency ignition when batt is flat. Once started and running switch to opposite direction to run or you may cook the batt
In 2017 I was - keep in mind that just because a parts supplier sells parts does not mean they have ALL the parts in the world.... C15 parts are hard to obtain
Good to see young guns keeping the classics alive.
