Kalvin Lumbombo-Kalala, 20, was scouted from our trial in West London in May. He has since been in on trial with Cheltenham Town, who play in League 2 and played in a friendly match against West Brom.

As a Cheltenham fan I've seen this lad play a few times. Had a nice ability to glide past players which is rare at this level and gets the crowd off their seats. Hoping he will score his first goal for us soon.

I really want to come to these trials but they’re too expensive, I get told my my teammates and manger for my Sunday league team that I have the ability a scout looks for but I don’t have any opportunities to impress any, I’m 15 and working everyday weather it’s in my garden or at training to get better and one day I hope to be able to show my skills infront of a scout in a game situation

One bad thing I noticed is that he gives the ball and then he slows down and just watch what the player is going to do without following the chance

Hello - sadly, unless you play for your National team, you do need an EU passport to be eligible to be scouted due to the UK Government Visa rules.

He is playing in Vanarama National League, I think. But I think that if he becomes more intelligent he can probably play in league one, I think that it is is maximum potential. And for sure that he can play in League Two, he just needs more opportunities and he will develop mentality, thats the only thing that he lacks.
