After 5 months our historic peoples peaceful protest, the health minister personally came to address the campaign, and an MOU was signed between the health ministry, Bpkihs, and Hami Nepal after we announced a nation wide protest with hunger strike. We also made certain that all demands were forwarded in writing, as they have a reputation of doing nothing after signing an MOU.
This is the BIG DAY for all the youths and residents of Dharan. A protest that began with vengeance for the girl who died on the floor will save thousands of lives in the coming years. May her soul and all the lives lost because of the negligence and incompetence of the hospital will get justice. 5 months of blood, sweat, and tears have finally paid off. Many youths fought day and night, hoping for a beautiful day like this. People-created history that yields results without even throwing a stone, breaking a table, or burning tires. It is possible if you speak up and defend yourself.
⚠️ Take the youth seriously, and consider this a warning.
