Is that a guarantee? because I ve wanted to create trance for over 14 years but my brain struggles to piece it together😅 tried and tried bought software hardware and it's just gotten to the point were it just sits on my desk because I get easily 😠
@@livingsouloftimestudio2887 I feel you mate for sure, I'm having the same difficulty, what I thought would be straight forward is actually almost a science. The trick I think is to enjoy and not get frustrated.
Even tho I'm producing for near 10 years now, and can use most major DAWs, I still found this video fascinating.

Also look for UK Hardcore and Happy Hardcore. Those tunes are amazing as well. Just listen to "Blow Me Away".. it will blow you away!

aafter watching this particular video I start to admire you
i listen to other songs often and analyse them like you recommended in another video this helps me. what would also help me is to have insight on pro so songs projects to see the structure and the elements that they use and when they use them.
I hope I can learn to make paul miller style trance and also akira kayosa one day. Your tutorials are crystal clear to follow ill be joining very soon!

Is all of this information applicable to the Reaper DAW?
I'm just starting this journey and, in the past, I've only used Audacity for recording music.
The reason I ask is that I don't want to buy Ableton when I can just download Reaper to give this a try.
Of course, and reaper has many great functions. Learn your daw, any daw and just make music;)

Get vital for free instead serum
Is it possible to replace serum with vital(it's free)? I mean if you didn't have serum, would you buy it anyway or you would use vital instead?
I have had serum way before vitals existed. Vital is a very capable synth and can make some amazing thing Serum cannot;)

My issue is building a track from intro to end especially the intro and heading into the first break, I either end up making it too long or just boring and incoherent. any tips?
I had the same problem. But I figured it out. Maybe have a look at www.readyformasterclass.com and watch trance build up class. Use trance2022 to get second masterclass for Free 💪🏻
