Tamagotchi iD: Replacing The Batteries

Replacing Tamagotchi Batteries:
☆ This method is the same or similar for most other color screen Tamagotchi versions (Plus Color, Hexagontchi, iD L, P's, etc.) ☆
Requires two new AAA batteries, and something to poke the back button with. I used a plastic darning needle in this video.
Once you replace the batteries, you will get a screen that says:
ろーど
りせっと
The first option is "load" (to start where you left off), and the second option is reset.
*Make sure to select the first option if you do not want to lose your current progress!

Last time I replaced the battery but the words came up just like that and I didn't know what it ment,so I just press with a dout!! Which reset everything,my fevourite tama wos gone completly!!! I really miss him.........

I have A Japanese Tamagotchi ID L and in the battery compartment is another compartment when you pop that open it shows a hole bunch of gold circles ..why is this free to see ? is this for debugging ?

Do you know how long the Tamagotchi ID L can go without betteries? I was thinking, when I want to take a break from it I could take out the batteries. Will the memory be wiped if I don't replace the batteries instantly? Also, will the Tamagotchi warn me when the battery life is low?

You can remove the batteries for as long as you like. When you put them back in and select "LOAD" you will pick up right where you left off. The memory will only be wiped if you select "RESET".
When the battery life is low, there will be a symbol on the screen, and you won't be able to do anything until you change the batteries. This won't affect anything otherwise. Once you replace the batteries you can continue.
