I find it so admirable that Bonnie kept up with her sisters' music after she left the group. She always sings their 80s stuff like she actually recorded it with them. That's love.
If it wasn't for Patricia "Bonnie" Pointer there would've been No Pointer Sisters group! She was the catalyst joined by June then Anita and finally Ruthie! Period. 💔🥀💔🥀RIP June and Bonnie. 😪🤎🤎🤎🤎
Yes and if it was up to Bonnie and Anita, we would have seen more of them singing together on stage lately, but biggest sister wouldn't allow it. Now it's too late!! 😞
Ruth had small children and was and still in recovering! It was said that Bonnie was still during drugs years after June passed and Bonnie was said to be difficult because she felt that she was not getting enough attention. Now all four of the sister were and are exceptional singers so she was going to get the attention she wanted too much talent up there, Ruth said I think it was in her book that Bonnie would try to take over the whole stage, I saw her do it and if you notice in the movie Car Wash she had on a different color than the other sisters. I loved her with the group if she would have stayed she would have shined brigher with Richard Perry he brought out the best in all of the remaining sisters, each one sang lead on a big hit in the 1980's
Ruthie looks fabulous here with short hair 🥰😍🤩I'm always partial to short hair because it makes you look younger and brings out your face more. But all of them are beautiful 🤎🤎🤎🤎including their children and grands.😘🥰
Looks like TH-cam has muzzled me, but nevertheless, it's wonderful to see Bonnie here totally enjoying singing on stage with her sisters, makes us miss June even more!!!😄

Bonnie did little of June’s parts, but at this time Ruth had the lead on “Jump” and was doing most of June’s part, like “Happiness” and “Dare me”.
