Sometimes the shift just disappears on white base or just dulls it down.
They've done some videos comparing shifts over different bases. some shifts give an almost opal like shine to the white, some completely disappear. I'd love to see this one over a grey base so the color doesn't totally disappear, but it would hopefully be more of a minty green to lavender shift

I love this! It almost has a chrome property to it. BUT... I would love to see this over a white base! Please make it happen!!

Sometimes white hides the pearls and the shift quality's but sometimes it's fucking awesome

Fonzie - "If that is the case, black is the completely wrong base". This is exactly why I suggested in a recent video to start doing two-tone dip jobs, half the car with a black base and half the car with a white base (front and back or left and right). This color is nice, but it looks like so many other hypershifts that have been used for decades now. With a white base, this probably would have looked like the Mint Dream that Gabe had stated. Or, what would be done too, if you don't want a car two-toned, choose a base for the full-scale project but also paint 3 speed shapes (white, black, and silver base), so that we can see how it will look on different bases.
Some of the hypershifts I have seen would be great on a 1950s two tone car, or a two toned pickup truck.
I don’t know why but the way they film the videos with each guy in their own frame with the shots back and forth is so cute to me. Especially how Gabe’s always in his little corner giving such sage advice. 😂
Need to see it on white or bright green base.

That Lime color Dodge used in the late 60s early 70s would be an awesome base for this.
Oh, that's beautiful - the green and purple flow so seamlessly into each other.
The contrast between the two colors is pretty amazing this would also be a fun color on a white base. Nice work !

Totally unexpected. When you were still mixing it from the top view, it reminded me of a soft coral I had in my reef tank I had years ago called 'Elegance'. It was that bright almost neon green with pink. I would have never guessed this dip was going to come out like that. So pretty. I'd love to see it on another base, white or just a lighter base out of curiousity.
I'm only at the 4m mark of the video and the colour of it in the mixing tank is making me think of that kind of glow-in-the-dark green luminescence.
I use beads with a very similar effect on them. Miyuki brand calls it “Aurora Borealis” or AB coating. It looks very different on different colored beads. You guys should definitely do a batch of different base color speedshapes to play around with this one.

That is insane... especially considering the powder and mixed form.I would love to see this over multiple colors on speed shapes with the favorite or favorites dipped full scale on one of your cars. Either way, this is a definite 5!!! Thanks for the great content
That's totally not what I was expecting, this one has blown me out of the water. What an awesome colour, with the greens, pinks, purples and a hint of blueish WOW this one has turned out a 5/5 outstanding from KP pigments.

Man I dont know why but I immediately wondered what it would look like over a bright orange base 😂 Gorgeous shift, very Aurora Borealis and definitely a 5/5 for me. I'd love to see speed shapes with different base colours like white, lime green, bright orange etc.
I was looking for a bright orange candy pearl, and deciding on the base colour when I saw this.

5/5 I don’t usually comment on these but I have to say, this looks especially stunning. I thought the green/purple shifts were interesting but overdone but instead of a subtle shift, this one instantly transforms from green to purple with very little transition. Very nice!
What makes it very special is the sudden change from purple to green. It's not the colour shift you'd expect.
But somehow, the intensity of the colours make it work.
Clearly, black is a good base colour. Maybe even the best choice.
Don't know about the "Mint" part of the name gabe gave, but the "Dream" part was spot on, holy heavens that is beautifull.
I didn't expect the green to come out like a forest color! Stunning color!

About 20 years ago, Cover Girl released a pretty cool nail polish called Midnight Forest that had that dark green to dark purple color shift. I loved it. It was incredible. It's been out of production for a long, long time, and no clone has ever come close to it. But somehow this hypershift pearl is pretty darn close! This one is a 5 for me. I'd drive this car for the rest of my life.

Love this color absolutely amazing.
I was really hoping it would be a green to silver hypershift. Like an homage to Jame's Bond and Aston Martin. The ZSB hypershift was almost what I was looking for but too much blue. This one reminds me of The Joker from Batman.

This was wild! Minty pastel green in the mixing cup, but nowhere near that once on the car. On the black base like this, it's giving me Ford Mustang Mystichrome vibes. Or maybe I'm just too much of a Mustang guy, lol. So cool!

This is definitely a head turner! I let my daughters see it (ages 9 & 5) and they said it was awesome and amazing. It’s always hard for me to give anything a 5. 5 is mind blowing. This isn’t quite that, but it’s definitely a head turner!
This is without a doubt my favorite paint job yet. Dark purple with beautiful deep green. Poison Ivy is what I'd call it. 5* all the way.

Now that is gorgeous! What I would call a "Maleficent" car with that green-purple color shifting. I'm not a fan of green cars (even though my car is, not by choice) but THIS is what I would want my car to look like if I had a choice. Love seeing this mystery colors dropped on you, they are always amazing in the final reveal!!

When I was younger, I was into RC and this hypershift reminds me of the first time I painted my RC's body as I used a green to purple color shift paint from a rattlecan. That was many years ago and I am pretty sure the body was destroyed.

ZGS appears to me like a battle between a chrome metallic hunter green, & a dark purple... concord grape jelly, maybe? Fantastic shifting. 4.7
Hear me out here. You need to use the white based pearls with the bluegill color shifting pearls ontop of a black primed and ready vehicle or with the car you always do it with. This will come out amazing!
During the mixing and pouring beauty shots, it kind of looked like what kid me THOUGHT ecto-cool from hi-c should look like

Besides the almost amber/magenta side tones; this is Mystic. But then again. The side tone makes me think of those GTR (R33/34) with the pearlescent purple you guys did a few months back

You should do this over a dark green base. Some sort of forest green or british racing green. I think it might come out looking like an emerald.

Wow the purp really comes out after the spray! When I saw it in the mixing I was say they should call it ectocooler or slimer but over black those titles don't fit. I wonder what it'd look like over a grey or even white base.
call it absinthe, real absinthe liquor has a green hue and when drank the proper way it turns white as well. freaking wicked color
