Only at the end of 2020 would I somehow find comfort in a song about a meteor destroying the entire world. :) This is an amazingly written and performed song.
Four amazingly talented guys - I was fortunate enough to have stumbled onto their music through a recommendation from a former director of the South Orange PAC (NJ) back in 2017 and have been a diehard fan since. As great as their videos are, you MUST see them live - simply sublime! Although I was disappointed hearing that bassist/vocalist David Senft is no longer touring with them...while still an absolutely stunning group, I think his absence alters the dynamic.
Some day a shooting star is gonna shoot me down Burn these high rises back into a ghost town Of iridium-white clouds Matted close against the ground While the sky hangs empty as a frame See the reddening horizon line Feel the planet spilling on the space time All the way down Somerset, I take pictures of cement For the history books on Mother Earth To the west now it begins In the sound waves in the wind There is an echo going by me Of the mountains caving in And the potted roads and I Knew that one day we would die And become smooth and whole again Like the ash that sweeps the sky Some day a shooting star is gonna shoot me down Burn these high rises back into a ghost town To the west now it begins In the sound waves in the wind There is an echo going by me Of the mountains caving in There's holy water lying in the crater well Heavy metals, high test gasoline Blessed singularity A telescoping memory Where the sky still flickers through the leaves
Is no one going to talk about the guy playing the mandolin with a violin bow? That's amazing

This is what music is.

These guys are so so so good. They're going to be big someday. I'm just happy I discovered them early.
My super fave song for the past year now! 😍💟

Some day a shooting star is gonna shoot me down
Burn these high rises back into a ghost town
Of iridium-white clouds
Matted close against the ground
While the sky hangs empty as a frame
See the reddening horizon line
Feel the planet spilling on the space time
All the way down Somerset, I take pictures of cement
For the history books on Mother Earth
To the west now it begins
In the sound waves in the wind
There is an echo going by me
Of the mountains caving in
And the potted roads and I
Knew that one day we would die
And become smooth and whole again
Like the ash that sweeps the sky
Some day a shooting star is gonna shoot me down
Burn these high rises back into a ghost town
To the west now it begins
In the sound waves in the wind
There is an echo going by me
Of the mountains caving in
There's holy water lying in the crater well
Heavy metals, high test gasoline
Blessed singularity
A telescoping memory
Where the sky still flickers through the leaves
I must be so vain
I'm waiting for this to explode :P
I cannot believe it hasn't happened yet
@@pganemk yea strange it still has low views!
