I honestly can't understand why people got so upset over what Mr. Beast did, and people need to chill with the "stop commercializing Squid Game. It was meant to serve as a warning about Capitalism, so you're ruining its entire message when you capitalize on it" nonsense. It is, at the end of the day, a commodity. A tv show is a commodity, one that is "sold" to audiences who "buy" it by investing their time and money in consuming its content. It doesn't matter what the content of that show is, because Netflix is, as all cable network shows and streaming services are, a business. A capitalist business. Thanks to this capitalist business, the world has been exposed to Korean culture and a message about the dangers of capitalism. So, you're welcome.
The best part of Squid Game's worldwide success is that people who know next to nothing about Korea are suddenly learning more about its culture through children's games and activities. Getting mad at foreigners being inspired by the show to try to recreate it, and even giving their own money away to the winner, is absurd. I find Mr. Beast's recreation absolutely amazing, and his inclusion of Korean games (instead of trying to find American equivalents) is really cool.

In india, we played red light green light but we called it LONDON, this is how it goes, one player has to turn his back from the rest and spell LONDON out loud, in the mean time other players has to move their way before the person spelling L-O-N-D-O-N turns his head to see who moves, if he catches they lose. They won if they can reach and touch the person yelling LONDON.

For everyone, 456 of them, participating, each loser receives 2,000$. For the people remaining in the Chair game, they receive 10,000$ upon losing. Add the 456,000$, is a total of 1,406,000$. And he made the set for 2,000,000$.
All he get is 44,000$ remaining

I was not familiar with dalgona and squid game before the show! I think the way the first game is played is different from "red light, green light", because it seemed like they could only move when the girl was singing. In red light, green light, you can be cruel and scream "RED LIGHT!" while everyone is already stopped, and trick them into starting to run because they think they heard "green light".
