I was obsessed with this when I was younger. I was obsessed with nightcore in general but this one was my favourite. I'm about to be an adult, and decided to come back to watch some of the nightcore videos I loved most, because these videos really shaped my art style, and my artistic preferences as a whole. I would sit there and listen to songs on repeat, copying the picture as best as I could because I loved them so much. I've grown a lot as an artist since then.
It is very sad how Japan degraded from their hardcore materialistic society to this sacrilegious mess. The country's national pride has reached the imaginary numbers and whatever sense of unity it's people had through their culture has completely disappeared. In its place, you will only find degeneracy, devolution and endless decline.

I don't agree about that at all. I love the singers voice on standard version, gives me eargasm for sure. This version, is like, uh, a guy trying to speed please a woman but fails at the basics because of it. Some things just can't be rushed, her voice, is one of those things. The picture with its beautiful purple/blueish background filled with the stars, the trees. And of course the Waifu with her beautiful hair and the lantern gives off those vibes of nostalgia and warmth you only feel every few years. “Wake me Up” might honestly be the one song where I believe the Nightcore is better than the original. This slight change in pitch is beautiful and the lyrics hit deep. This video gives me easy nostalgia from the early 2000’s, back when TH-cam and stuff was just coming out, those were the days and probably my greatest moment in history. Wake Me Up, Fireflies, Get Out Alive and many other songs back then made up my childhood..... even Peanut Butter Jelly Time is an all time classic. It is a shame that most music nowadays ain’t as great, not even close, the only type of music that is still good is anything in Anime, Anime Games and Movies. I think Japanese music is the only kind of music where I have NEVER said “This is bad” and will always enjoy it.

I don't agree about that at all. I love the singers voice on standard version, gives me eargasm for sure. “Wake me Up” might honestly be the one song where I believe the Nightcore is better than the original. This slight change in pitch is beautiful and the lyrics hit deep.
This video gives me easy nostalgia from the early 2000’s, back when TH-cam and stuff was just coming out, those were the days and probably my greatest moment in history.
Wake Me Up, Fireflies, Get Out Alive and many other songs back then made up my childhood..... even Peanut Butter Jelly Time is an all time classic. It is a shame that most music nowadays ain’t as great, not even close, the only type of music that is still good is anything in Anime, Anime Games and Movies.
I think Japanese music is the only kind of music where I have NEVER said “This is bad” and will always enjoy it.
