- Hello, this is a PSA. For my entire life I always thought I needed these fancy supplies to make art but NO. Copic markers are way too expensive, and honestly??? Copic alternatives will burn a lil hole in your pocket too if you're broke like me! So here I'm going to demonstrate the importance of crayola supertips and why they are the loves of my life!!!

i use tombow fudenosuke, but i’m genuinely unsure if it’s oil based or not. i use it with water based mediums all the time tho! and thank you!!💜💜💜

hi! omg, i loved this technique! quick question though: do you think this technique can be done in colouring books?
hmmm i would guess it wouldn’t work the best since most coloring book paper is super thin :( if you try it, be super light handed with the water first to see how the paper reacts.

Can you dip the tip in water to make a gradient from light to dark?
RainChains4Less sadly i’ve had no luck with it :( when i do that it kind of like sucks the color away for a bit because the tip fills with water or something. the color comes back eventually but i’ve never been successful with it

honestly, I don't have any other cheap alternatives. these markers are so cheap and I use them so often, I don't really seek out any alternatives. I really enjoy tombow brush markers, but those are much more expensive 😭

Hi, any idea what happens when you spray krylon uv archival or another non yellowing or archival spray on drawing with supertips? Does the paint dissolve?
ive sprayed archival on drawings with supertips before and had no issues, i would say do a test first, because each marker reacts differently depending on the color 👍
