Definitely I need to rebalance difficulties, players, and make stages' randomness more sensible so it's consistent to route. Gonna try real hard not to f it up next time 🥲
For what its worth: the "dont fuck it up line" is more of a "dont lose your chance" kinda thing, instead of a "u messed up'" thing. This game is immensely promising and I will be patiently waiting for release
This actually impressed me seeing in action as well but good lord these are TOUGH for early Lunatic stages. Other characters without a small hitbox like Reimu I pray for them LOL.
this is pretty much exactly how i feel about this demo. it's very promising, but the demo is held back by extremely wonky balancing (i feel like i'm playing sohw lunatic extra, not the first 3 stages of a lunatic maingame) and a bunch of miscellaneous minor issues. trying for demo lnn and it's actually a miserable experience edit: adding on to even more reasons why reimu is busted: every time she gets a combo, all small enemies on screen (without the aura around them) are killed. meanwhile marisa gets a bigger item pickup cancel radius (whatever) and ichirin gets... higher damage to enemies from inside the aura! as if her shot wasn't supposed to do that already. the replay system also leaves much to be desired - the game autosaves replays of completed runs for you and you can't manually save or rename them yourself. it doesn't even show you the final score on the replay menu, but apparently this is an oversight that will be fixed
This game looks really fun, despite the balance issues! I'm looking forward to trying out the demo.
