Great resolutions Matt, happy for you to come hand water the flower field here if you need some help with the hand watering 🙌🏼 take care and happy new year!! 🌷💐
Best thing my husband I (50 somethings) did for our health and energy levels was going low carb. Hubby still has a beer every now and then but it’s done wonders for him. Of course weight just dropped off him and I still struggle but I definitely feel stronger. Always looking for mulch because we don’t produce enough yet and the project list for the garden is long. I find growing food is a great avenue to show kindness and generosity to others.
Hey that final sentiment is so true. You do care for others when you grow food.....how cool. Yeah weight has to come off before it's too late to address it effectively. Thanks for your thoughts on this Helen.
It's a big block but fronts the township so the block is long but not wide.the house went up in the late 1880's so it's a labour or love. Three trees and an umbrella plant when we got here.
Better late than never mate I appreciate. Get you on the hard bit. I’m just the point in my life where I need to find my own peace I guess and that usually means other people. Take care.
Just creeps up on you doesn’t it. Shift work and stoping smoking were the killers for me. Made our lifestyle change 18 years ago and times come for permanent change.
Great, achievable goals, Mathew!! I thing we did was get rid of cable TV. Sounds a bit ridiculous, but I feel better already :) All the best !! Cheers J&C 🌱😊🌱
@Matthew's Patch I forgot to mention but handwatering has so many other benefits aswell, probably one of the best ways to observe your garden. And watching the soil soak it up is a mindful experience:)
There's nothing like putting your resolutions out to the world. Gives a sense of accountability.
Yep think it keeps you honest.
Great resolutions Matt, happy for you to come hand water the flower field here if you need some help with the hand watering 🙌🏼 take care and happy new year!! 🌷💐
Don't tempt me! I could take an unscheduled leave of absence from work. Will.have to manage with what I've got 😃

Thanks Mate - I'll keep working on it.
Very inspiring - acts of kindness is definitely something we can all do more of ❤
Sure could.
All of those resolutions are fantastic. Especially the last one ❤
I hope I live up to my own aspirations!
Setting goals that are really achievable like the ones you have set is a great way to take steps to looking after yourself and others, well done!
Thanks - doing my best to stick to them. Just time and patience.
Great advise! Keep up the good work and everything will fall into place. Great 2023 awaits!!!🙏
Thanks - I hope so. I need to find a balance so it’s a good place to start.
