14:25 If that logic were followed, unlikely that bitcoin will be the one and there's thousands of others... why not look at the top 20 excluding BTC and ask, which of these assets will be in demand over the next 10 to 20 years? Ask that once per quarter and depending on the answers, invest accordingly.

I agree with him about gold, it was insurance on money. Now that we have digital assets however, insurance may have a speculative upside to it. What's the nominal price of golds monetary value? What is the value of an asset that sends money around the world with instant settlement? The demand for gold has been for systemic monetary uncertainty. Digital assets on the other hand would support the exact opposite while increasing liquidity and the speed of finality. Thinking of bitcoin as digital gold is well and good but don't stop there. Why not have that digital "faith" be the store of value, medium of exchange, and a unit of account, all rolled into one.

Gold is a precious medal. Isn’t small amounts used in computer processing? Who knows what technology comes out tomorrow that will have a strong gold component that could drive the cost up. I agree with Peter on it being impractical for Day to Day purchases.. buttt.. why not have gold stored in a bank and transfer it like we do with cash.. you don’t need to have cash in your pocket to spend it. Seems obvious to me and Tim should have picked up on that

Buy income producing real estate. Buy in the $600-800 rent range .Get a 30 year mortage that the tenants will pay off. Time is on your side.
Real estate is much more stable than owning companies. How many companies from 30 years ago are still around?15 yrs?

Couldn't be more generic. He's just trying to get Tim's money in his fund.
