The original song just starts like Coldplay - Fix You! If you observe closely, these two songs share the same chord progression, but on various scales. Even the solo in both the songs have been very similar in terms of picking pattern. "Fix You" has a riff solo, "Jiyein Kyun' has a more flavoured solo (improvised, of course)
