Also the turnouts on your blue shovel? Couldn’t have chosen a Better exhaust! Sounded awesome while you were w/Hippie visiting Wheels thru Time!
Thank you really cool billy!!! As far as the turn outs on the 67’ shovel, that wasn’t my pick, its the factory original mufflers for the 1967, so if they weren’t on there, it would’ve been my choice when replacing them!!! 😂😂
Staying up on your videos! Viewed many of your older videos too! WR frame mystery was super interesting! I also saw the lightning holes at that time they were hand-and by eye center leveled to the ground the top radius of the top hole that was filled is slightly forward looking REALLY looks the part. Many I have seen have been filled similarly. (Unfortunate most people are un-aware of the significance) I found the right channels to watch! You guys geek on this stuff like I do! Thanks!!!

Yo Slick, what side bag lid do you need? I have part of a 73 tour pack that has been sitting in my parts for a while. Let me know, I believe it's the correct latch your looking for.
Well Bruce it’s the right side lid, but I don’t believe it matters about what side it is, and I’m sure you probably don’t have the right style latches. I need because I need the ones that would be on the 1967. They were a different style then. If you look at the picture, I put up in the video, the left side bag that I have is all correct and correct latch style!!! The right side bag has a lid in it that will fit and matches the same as the left side, but it just has the 1968 and later Style latch on it, so I’d have to do like the guy said in the video about buying the re-pop 67 latches and just drill out the other ones and install the rep pop ones, and I don’t have to do that to the right side bag because my left side is all correct. I am curious as to what your latches look like? The 1967 style latches were called “suitcase latches”.

Dang nice bikes I have my first a 68 flh second 95 heritage custom and just got my last one 05 Softail standard. Got to get the shovel back on the road been sitting over 20 years. I know I know motorcycle abuse.
@@SlickHeadCustomCycles No can do my late mother picked out that bike when I was 19 on leave from the Navy it is blue and cream now I am going back to the original colors of black and cream. The reason it's been sitting is the gas tanks started cracking on the frame side and leaking tried fixing it cracking would start in another spot. Long story short other parts were plan wore out and finding OEM parts was tough but now I have them all . She is 90% original I want to keep her that way being with factory parts not aftermarket parts. The 10% is S&S rods valves and springs distributor cam etc heads cases generator are stock. Thanks for the offer but my 48 year old son has dibs on it and if I have my way he will be waiting for a while . ✌️ From SC

Yeah, they’re the same hard bag lids as any other. I just need to change the latch style to my year 1967 and as Richie was describing, I can do that and what he was describing would be getting them from JP cycles or somebody!!! 👍🍺

JP CYCLE has the lids. Amd hardware kits. Are they the same bags as any other shovel you can get the hardware
