+12054life EXACTLY^. I'm in my 30s, I grew up on 90s boom-bap NYC hip-hop, and that sound is still my bread and butter. But this new trap stuff is about having a good time--there's it's place. Plus it thumps on the subwoofers. There's enough room in hip-hop for many sounds.
+superseiyan right! And I agree! I still like to listen to some Slaughterhouse, Logic, some battle raps, you know, something with bars. But when it's time to go hang out with some friends, drink and dance, then we're bumping Future, Chief Keef, and others to turn up to.
