- The Tsume Art HQS has arrived after three years of waiting! But she came with some flaws and issues. This is my most expensive figure in my collection so far, so I'll share the assembly walkthrough, pro tips when handling resin and PLA/ ABS, and how I fixed the problems with my own figure. #sailormoon

Sailor Moon is a shojo anime about Usagi Tsukino, a 14 year old teenager who becomes a super hero and fights enemies keen on wreaking havoc on the world. The anime and manga is copyright Naoko Takeuchi and Toei Animation. The manga comics were originally serialized in 1991, and the anime in 1992. Now at it's 30th anniversary, this media franchise is aimed at adult women who watched Sailor Moon in the 90's. My channel is directed and targeted towards women from ages 18-44 who were, and still are, fans of Sailor Moon. 0% of my audience includes persons under the age of 18. Videos include merchandise reviews of adult clothing lines, pricey and fragile collectibles, jewelry, and women's accessories.

It is definitely a bummer that your figure came with so many flaws, especially at that price point. I would definitely say something. She is a very nice figure. Thank you for sharing her with us. I hope you get somewhere with Tsume on the issues with the figure.
I just got mine a week ago and her hair bun was broken clean off 😭. Luckily, Tsume is working with DHL on covering the costs to send a replacement but I was just so excited to finally have her. She is a gorgeous figure but definitely a bit disappointing to hear of others receiving ones with defects/damages for a HQ figure. Tsume’s customer support has been awesome to work with so far though so I do appreciate that it feels like they genuinely want to help!
Gurl hell no. You better get them to repair that damn thing. I would have been so far in their faces for that. Anything over 500 bucks better come in pristine condition!
It’s honestly pretty sad that such an expensive figure has been arriving flawed and broken to many people.. you’d think they package it safer or make sure it’s perfect for sending them out. Like Ochi’s had a big gap on her head. If I’m paying hundreds for a figure I’d expect it to be handled much better..
You should look at the Moon Glow Studio Sailor Moon, that one is very well packed. Every piece packed separately in foam with even extra padding. Statue arrived yesterday, no damages at all. She is a stunning statue, total cost €330
Thanks for doing a detailed review with letting everyone know of the lack of quality control. Some of the stories I heard were really disheartening. I didn’t have an issue with my figure but people need to know about the issues others had. I’m so bummed yours was not perfect as it should have been. They are mass produced but they are limited and way more expensive then anything tamashii nations releases so it should have been better looked after. I thought that was another reason the wait time was so long, as they were doing these in batches, thus checking each one better then this.
I got mine 3 days ago and I will never order form Tsume again! my pegs came deformed and I had a hard time getting them to fit on sailor moon. The lack of communication from them plus the quality issues just makes me avoid Tsume from now on. A 500 plus figure should not make me dread opening it or make me feel thankful for only having minor issues. E2046 has better quality control
You are the second person to message me about the pegs being deformed! Someone else had a similar issue, so that makes three of us now that I know of.
@@SailorSnubs They were so deformed that I had to cut them in order for them to fit ! even if they make the other sailors I would just pass
For that price, and the experience you had it with...I'd be pretty disappointed. Of course it's gorgeous, and in general there isn't that many flaws, but 3 years?! If it really had to take that long, they should send the most perfect figure ever. :/ the price you pay isn't only for the product itself, but the whole purchase experience counts, from shipping to post sale support. You handled it much better than me, I'd probably be raging or crying when I saw that first scratch. Not even counting the wobble and snaped off piece. I get upset when my $25 merchandise isn't looking great and it's kind of wild how the Q-Poskets I've received for between $15-30 are usually perfect yet a limited line like this is having so many issues.
At least the good news is, even flawed figures are still extremely rare and still beautiful! Thanks for sharing and being honest!

I'm kinda glad they haven't released any more Sailor Moon statues. After seeing all the issues this one has had, plus the long wait and $$$, I'd be so nervous ordering one.
I'd also like if in the future they had a simpler version and something like this could be the DX version. I like how Sailor Moon looks, but would choose to nix the ribbon and roses if it saved $250+.
It would be so cool if the base lit up and played the attack music
After hearing so many issues with this and seeing actual pictures I ended up canceling my order. Don’t get me wrong she is stunning. But quality control they lacked of; And yet they have amazing concepts/figures.
I hope you get this fixed. I can only imagine spending that much and waiting so long… and then this…
For 600 dollars quality control should be PRISTINE. That's just crazy.

Yyooo!! I mised you so much!! I was wondering where you where. I say keep it. She seems fixible. Very preatty figure in one of salor moons most beloved poses endeed. I also orderd a figure, my first one!! It gets here in november. Its the hokusai from fayt stay night on her normal clouth. Im hoping she gets here ok. This looks nice but I do not like that material I had other figures of the same material and they broke . At least this one came better than the others of pictures I have seen
I like the resin figures because overtime the paint won't get sticky but since they're so rigid they can break super easily

I bought Sailor Moon in her Eternal form (Banpresto) and there was 2 small green spots on SM's hair. I was very disappointed since that was my first time getting a figurine that had flaws. Can't return the figurine because I bought it from a vendor at an anime/ comic convention, and I paid in cash. I'm hoping the next one I get won't have paint splotches. Seriously, wtf Banpresto?
It’s always disappointing to unbox something I’ve waited a long time for only to find small flaws. It’s happened a few times with figures I’ve ordered from Sideshow. Fortunately they’ve only been small things, but once seen can’t be unseen. What do you do with your packaging? Do you keep it in case you ever decide to sell an item, or don’t you bother?
I have a walk-in closet off my collection room so I keep all of my boxes stored away in case I need to resell anything
I would ask them to send you a new ribbon!
