Whoa! Good job! I didnt have patience so I hired a guy to build me a serger that can handle sequin. My thought process is that there are airplanes that fly us from one country to the next and someone built that machine. There has to be a machine that can be built to sew sequin and extremely powerful. People thought I was crazy but one guy totally understood me. He was a mechanic at a sewing machine store.

Honey, I know what you mean (I get similar comments), but I usually tell these women, they can make and wear anything they dream of. I am in fashion school after learning at home for 2 years. I believe all figures and sizes can look good if the person making the garment knows how to work with the model at hand. I hope you look into making your own, please. 🙏🏾

The pants are gorgeous. I would like to make them in a stretchy royal blue (Barbara Bush blue) fabric. Got a multude of vibrant solid and print cotton and georgette blouses. You've inspired me. Have to find right fabric. Only have three stores here in Pensacola and don't think Joann and Hobby Lobby carries the right fabric. ROAD TRIP TO MOBILE!!!!!!!!! Wish me luck. Daniela i’d be extremely happy if you did a princess wedding dress that would be amazing! I want to make one for my wedding but have no idea how to layer the tulle for the skirt also how to drape a boat neckline and how to work with embroidered fabric .. I know it’s a big request but if you could do it it would be a dream come true? Love you so much!
I wanted to make a bomber jacket out of some double-sided holographic sequins but I never knew how to sew it, I tried a 120 sized needle, I tried basically shaving off the sequins (which ruined the fabric like you showed in the video), I even tried (sewing gods forgive me) gluing it. Had to opt out to to hand sew it until I got so frustrated with the sequins stabbing my fingers and it just being such an awful experience that I is now in my unfinished disaster pile. Thank you for sharing this video, I think that cutting off the sequins themselves will reduce a lot of the bulk and make my life a little easier from now on
When things like this happens, I find it best to comeback to it later when you get more knowledge.Then you can tackle the project differently. Good Luck.
Love the pants! If I may give an advice to beginners. I usually baste the seam allowance with a contrast thread and then cut the sequin. It's time consuming but it's worth it. I can not sew through sequin even if you use a heavier needle.

I like that you use thinner paper. My school uses thick brown paper while I use similar at home.
