My daddy was from Ilocos Sur and such a wonderful cook. I also was raised on Philippino food. Watching this video brought back such wonderful memories of my father. I miss him so much.

I wish I could visit the Philippines, my mom's native country after this pandemic, or when I turn 18. Thank you for sharing this slice of life in your countryside. I'm from Vancouver, Canada and know that this is an idealized version of country life in the Philippines. But I have quite a few friends of Filipino heritage and they would tell me of life in the villages with such fondness and good memories. When I saw how you prepared the food, all from the local area, I was simply having a mouth watering experience! I could almost smell the food as you were cooking it....Filipinos are big hearted and loyal friends, who also love sharing their beautiful culture. Thx, for sharing this....
