BRO whoever is saying mo ran isn’t good haven’t read The whole book MO RAN WAS LITERALLY CURSED WITH FLOWER OF HATRED AND LIKE SHI MEI but once the curse was broken he became a sweetheart he didn’t want Chu Wanning to suffer anymore he literally died for Chu Wanning he didn’t want his wanning to be dragged out with him so he blamed himself for everything and he even had his heart and golden core destroyed,he was on verge of dying but still went in the snow to give Chu Wanning a blanket so Wanning doesn’t get cold,mo ran never had a choice NEVER,his mind was against him it was hua binan fault,mo ran loved Wanning since he was small disciple he spent hrs making a embroidery on a handkerchief ,he let himself get cursed by shi mei since shi mei originally planned to curse Wanning, I haven’t read tcgf yet the book are lying in a corner but I know how loyal hua Cheng is how he is a green forest 🌳 but hua cheng had a choice his sweet memories with dianxia were never erased SO BOTH ARE EQUAL
