Vivek did a great job and honestly these two journalists weren't that bad. Yes they challenged him and alluded to their narrative but i don't think they did so in a way that was detrimental to the interview. In fact, i think that the challenging nature of the interview helped vivek have an opportunity to defend some of the "mainstream" misinformation about him. Overall a great interview, every time Vivek is challenged in such a major way it highlights why he is truly great.

The depth and breadth of his knowledge and articulation of the issues by Vivek is unmatched by the other candidates. He is on a whole other level than all the other candidates. It's not even close. Vivek is exactly what this country needs at this point in time.
Finally NBC giving him coverage. If they gave the same interview approach to Desantis or Niki definitely be stumped. They definitely gave Vivek some hardline questions and Vivek was ready.
Still deciding between Vivek and Trump? Here's my analysis: 1. Vivek has a brilliant understanding of constitution and laws. Trump failed his first term because he got duped by the "experts". Trump is yet to acknowledge his shortcomings. 2. Vivek has a stronger connection and collaboration with the younger generation. As a self-made entrepreneur and author of multiple books, Vivek can inspire more young people as a role-model. Most of the younger generation tends to vote Democratic - which proves Trump has failed in bringing the youth so far. 3. Vivek is more well-read, well-spoken and intelligent than Trump: His approach is more unifying and more relatable to both sides as seen in his podcasts and conflicts with protesters. Trump's approach is more crude and divisive, which is not good when we are this close to a civil war. 4. Vivek is self-funded, which allows his to speak on issues like eminent domain, removing affirmative action, etc. Trump is beholden by his donor class (Super PACs), who have invested a lot of money in Trump's legal cases and campaign - they will demand a "return" later. 5. Vivek is promising to shut down corrupt government agencies. Trump is advocating a new building for FBI, notice the difference? 6. Vivek is more energetic (almost 350 events last year, hundreds of virtual summits and podcasts). Trump is very old almost 80 (managed 30 events last year)..which is a magnitude of 10 TIMES the output. The legal fights have and will continue to drain Trump further. 7. Vivek will not play the 'victim card' his campaign is based off his gratitude. Trump's campaign (and his supporters) want vengeance, which is why their entire strategy is about playing victim. 8. There is a good chance that Trump will go to jail before elections. If that happens, it would not just embarrass Republicans, the entire country would be subject to ridicule. Vivek will be attacked as well, but he has a stronger background to fight back and he leaves less room for mistakes. Vivek wins at virtually at every level of analysis. Just my 2c

As a former tv journalist I genuinely do not understand why this journalist kept asking him over and over again after he already answered if he would accept the election results. Unfortunately this felt very pressured to spin a narrative and not what we are called and trained to do as journalists.

I have to at least give credit to NBC News for keeping this video up even though their interviewers look like progressive activists. The reason it's not the official language is because it makes it easy for us to accept everyone and also prevents discrimination against those who are currently not English speakers. English SHOULD BE KNOWN in the US, just like CURSIVE should be known and DEFINITIONS should be known so everyone KNOWS their god-given RIGHTS and the things the government isn't allowed to infringe as stated in the CONSTITUTION, WRITTEN IN ENGLISH. I had friends who had a parent who couldn't speak English, and then the RESPONSIBILITY of informing the non-english speaker the rights noted in the Constitution(constitution doesn't grant, it notes, because it's under the ideals of God given rights) falls on the English speaker.

With Vivek, you get the Trump policies without the Trump baggage. There is an irrational hatred for Trump and he motivates many to come out and vote against him. Vivek doesn't have that problem. Look at his many interviews and speeches and check out the comments. Vivek is drawing people from across the political spectrum. A Trump/Biden matchup would be close and well within the margin of cheating. But Vivek against Biden or whoever would be a lopsided vote, a possible landslide in favor of Vivek because of his charisma and intellectual superiority. Yes they challenged him and alluded to their narrative but i don't think they did so in a way that was detrimental to the interview. In fact, i think that the challenging nature of the interview helped vivek have an opportunity to defend some of the "mainstream" misinformation about him. Overall a great interview, every time Vivek is challenged in such a major way it highlights why he is truly great.

In this NBC interview, Vivek gives a masterclass in how to effectively deliver your message without allowing dishonest and compromised media to control the conversation. His boldness, consistency and honesty were highly satisfying and exposed the predetermined agenda of the 2 women interviewers, who were constantly frustrated in their inability to trap or confuse him. I rarely see such confidence and competence in a Republican candidate. Vivek won’t win this time…but he has a very bright future and should serve in a highly important office in the meantime.

The depth and breadth of his knowledge and articulation of the issues by Vivek is unmatched by the other candidates. He is on a whole other level than all the other candidates. It's not even close. Vivek is exactly what this country needs at this point in time.

Finally NBC giving him coverage. If they gave the same interview approach to Desantis or Niki definitely be stumped. They definitely gave Vivek some hardline questions and Vivek was ready.

Still deciding between Vivek and Trump? Here's my analysis:
1. Vivek has a brilliant understanding of constitution and laws. Trump failed his first term because he got duped by the "experts". Trump is yet to acknowledge his shortcomings.
2. Vivek has a stronger connection and collaboration with the younger generation. As a self-made entrepreneur and author of multiple books, Vivek can inspire more young people as a role-model. Most of the younger generation tends to vote Democratic - which proves Trump has failed in bringing the youth so far.
3. Vivek is more well-read, well-spoken and intelligent than Trump: His approach is more unifying and more relatable to both sides as seen in his podcasts and conflicts with protesters. Trump's approach is more crude and divisive, which is not good when we are this close to a civil war.
4. Vivek is self-funded, which allows his to speak on issues like eminent domain, removing affirmative action, etc. Trump is beholden by his donor class (Super PACs), who have invested a lot of money in Trump's legal cases and campaign - they will demand a "return" later.
5. Vivek is promising to shut down corrupt government agencies. Trump is advocating a new building for FBI, notice the difference?
6. Vivek is more energetic (almost 350 events last year, hundreds of virtual summits and podcasts). Trump is very old almost 80 (managed 30 events last year)..which is a magnitude of 10 TIMES the output. The legal fights have and will continue to drain Trump further.
7. Vivek will not play the 'victim card' his campaign is based off his gratitude. Trump's campaign (and his supporters) want vengeance, which is why their entire strategy is about playing victim.
8. There is a good chance that Trump will go to jail before elections. If that happens, it would not just embarrass Republicans, the entire country would be subject to ridicule. Vivek will be attacked as well, but he has a stronger background to fight back and he leaves less room for mistakes.

Look at his many interviews and speeches and check out the comments. Vivek is drawing people from across the political spectrum. A Trump/Biden matchup would be close and well within the margin of cheating. But Vivek against Biden or whoever would be a lopsided vote, a possible landslide in favor of Vivek because of his charisma and intellectual superiority. So the question is, should you vote for Trump in the primary just to have Trump lose in the general election, or vote for Vivek in the primary to get 8 years of Trump policies on steroids in the White House?

Vivek states the foundation of his platform are the values, principles, and standards upon which the United States of America was founded over 240 years ago. I am 72 years old. I like that! And I think the "Conservative Torch" and "America First" agenda need to be passed on to a new generation - Vivek 's generation!
I think the guy is cute, but really he has composite intelligence .. he is rational, emotional, intellectual, clear thinking, clear talker, rightly dividing the topics, he is able to see through a superficial phrase and hit the joint under the surface.
