I have that Bosch tarot!! I had no idea it was rare or out of print...although it makes sense I suppose I got the deck a very long time ago. I bonded with it's imagery but it was universally hated by my peers. Everyone said it was 'dark'. I suppose it can be....I find Bosch's creatures very whimsical but I know that isn't how the are meant to be perceived. The Queen of Wands card in particular is a very powerful one to me. I haven't used it since I started to relearn tarot...it lives in a box, wrapped in black velvet. Loved, but tucked away. I should take it out and look at it again....
I love the vandenborre , and yes it was first introduced to me by elle at sacred seed. It really was one of her faves. Tarot of the Holy light and the Mary elle and she also loved the orbifold. I learned so much from her she tremendously influenced what I bought and studied when I first started and even now. Wish she'd come back
There isn’t a VR out there specifically and exclusively on hand drawn tarot decks. Atypical briefly talked about it in one of his videos. There is something very very magical about hand drawn tarot decks.
The Renato Guttuso deck is valued at about 3 hundred dollars. Omg it's ny favorite one I would absolutely LOVE to own it. What a wonderful package you're so lucky. I've received one deck from another person , venus in Virtue sent me a third hand trimmed version of the tarot noir

Interesting, isn't it?! It might be the most artsy deck I own now! ... Probably just my Corsican roots coming to find me, since Corsica has been Italian for some time and the languages are very similar. You're making me think I should try pairing Guttuso's deck with Carte Napoletane!

And how sweet of you to share them with us as you opened the box up (your overwhelm was palpable but also very cute). Always great to get a peek at decks I've never seen before, that final one in the red box was very cool, I really love the vibrancy of the colours and the movement in the artwork. I would happily watch walkthroughs from you of every deck in the box because I enjoy hearing your perspective on the cards. I recently got the 2nd ed Moon Baby to scratch my itch for the Hoi Polloi and was sort of disappointed by it but seeing more of the Hoi Polloi makes it better. I’d still prefer to get my hands on a 1st ed Hoi Polloi.
He did a really good job with those images but I’m more of a muted or bold colored gal, not into pastels so never got the Moon baby one. It’s a good alternative but I am over the MOON with this one
You know - this is how I feel these days about a lot of things. It is not "either"/"or" for me. That's not enough. So I see it as both, and in this case, it is both "you can't have ENOUGH Tarot " and "there is the "having TOO MANY decks"..............it's both. I hope this helps you.............(HA!). I would love to see a full walkthrough of any of these decks, especially the Ibis Tarot when you are ready and the very last deck. The last deck makes me think of a mashup between Robert Blake and the pulp crime fiction of the 40s-60s (somewhere in there) I would love to know more of its history.
It makes me think a bit of the William Blake Tarot. It also might be a Picard system.. it’s a bit of a mystery. Will definitely show them on the channel!

The Marrakesh deck is fun. ,💜 Triomfi Purple, that's classy. My blue version has just shipped;) I'm excited 💙 . Looking forwards to see the Isis Deck. I like that last tower card and temperanza in the last deck.
Ahhhh I am hyperventilating watching this!!! I have the Paradoxical Purple Trionfi Della Luna and I looooooove it as you know, but in my defense, I chose the Strength as my least favorite card because all the other cards are fabulous so this was like "the least fabulous" for me. Vandenborre Bacchus is one of the few Marseilles that I keep. I like the old lines and the Spanish Captain. That cardstock really is different. ❤
