Hope Second Dinner starts to compete with Pokemon for lower prices, new features, and easy card acquisition so it won't end up like Hearthstone. I am hopeful. But i know it will be a dream far from true
@@DuckTheHeel If this is your way of defending Marvel Snap, while the core foundation of the game is fun, its completely insane P2W nature and meta reliant gameplay have sucked all the fun out of the game. Pokemon will feel more exciting to log on each day and see what you get out of the free packs. The monthly pass also seems to be much more fair than Snap's.
@@ArcadianVanguard978 Snap has insane p2w and meta reliant gamplay? Pretty obvious its the only tcg you've every played and you are about to be in for one hell of an awakening.
@@simeon6669 Snap has horrible catching up mechanics. Good luck being competitive in the game if you did not play for a few months. The game is a scam, and it sucks, because the core is fun.
@@ArcadianVanguard978 Other card games have basically the same problem. If you stop playing and miss a couple sets you are kinda screwed. Some games do give returning players a couple resources but you will still be behind massively compared to if you kept playing. Also lots of older decks are still perfectly viable without newer cards. Plus you can hit infinite and win infinite conquest with practically any deck, meta or not.
Absolutely would love to see you doing Pokemon Pocket content:) I think it might be first big competitor to Snap and since I had a lot of fun with old Pockemon TCG Online, I will try out Pocket for sure. I don't plan to quit Snap but a little break is very likely if my expectations are met:)
I'd say make a second Channel if you plan to post on that. Do not post two types of videos on one channel. People don't like that and from a marketing point of view you'll lose a lot of subscribers. I know this because I'm an artist and people only like it when you draw a certain type of thing. If you switch your art style to something else, people won't follow you anymore.
@@williammclean6594 I think you're partially right. I think it mostly has to do with building an audience who enjoys different kinds of content. There are tons of TH-camrs who can post almost anything and get decent views, but there are also channels that essentially get "type casted" into a certain type of content. TH-cam is weird lol
@@ZazaEnthusiast yeah with social media. At least in the art space people have different tastes so you grow way less if you post different types of stuff. Like if you draw hot girls for example the people that follow you that like that won't like if you also post sci-fi art or something so they might not follow you. And if you want to get commissions, you'll get way less commissions for certain types of art.
Personally, i kinda want you to keep playing snap eventhough later on pokemon will be added to your channel, i want to keep updated regarding snap from your channel Guest. The way you deliver information and guides about marvel snap is very informative and i enjoyed it and hoping you could keep at that way. But in the end, its up to you Guest, you make the decision
Thanks for answering all the FAQ about Pocket! Definitely helps for planning for the future. Good luck on whatever you decide on Guest! I recommend just doing a separate channel.
I think it doesn't really matter if a new game comes out. Eventually people get burnt out if they play a game for too long. It's fun at first when it's fresh, but eventually every game starts to get scale. Like I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh probably 12 years or something but eventually I got bored of it. I still play it but it will never be as fresh as it used to be
I'm looking forward to Pokémon Pocket, have been since it was first announced. Content on it would be great, if a new channel works best then go for it, or split this channel, whatever pleases the TH-cam algorithm gods this month.
I play snap almost everyday. Snap is just too hard for the casual player to get good cards and new over powered cards without paying. I hope pocket does not become pay to win.
I'm several hundreds of dollars deep into snap, not doing anything else until it dies. Will see how long you need to play daily to max F2P and how competitive you can be, mainly knowing my young kids love Pokemon so could play this later, when older, so the account would be much further ahead. We'll see
This won’t be the end of marvel snap for me. I’ve invested a lot of time and money on a game I love so I won’t stop playing it. Pokémon pocket is going to be a free to play for me because I want my money to go to marvel snap. But, I expect the number of players on marvel snap to drop the first month of Pokémon pockets release. That means snap will most likely step up their game. In my opinion. Getting keys should be easier.
i hope it crushes snap and brode is forced to make bundles like 5 bucks to keep the game afloat. it will be pure schadenfreude, devs can get rekt. this is from someone who used to run two accounts to infinite since launch.
some people think this will end snap 😂 two different target markets that come together a liiiittle bit in the middle. like myself! I play snap and I will be on tcg pocket day 1! but to say pocket will end snap is just silly. pokemon fans weren't playing snap to have a card game that they will now abandon in favor of a pokemon property now that a competitor to snap is releasing. it will "take" some snap players for sure. but I feel Mos snap players that go to pocket will be playing both. also there's no ranked on pocket. so it's collection based and child friendly lol. it ain't ending snap
Yeah, it's almost the opposite of snap. Pokemon TCG is already a watered down game at 60 cards, and nobody even plays the app... now they're simplifying even further 😂 i actually don't think snap players will even like this new game.
@@jakethasnake3524 Pokemon will be way bigger than Snap, simply because collecting will attract casuals, which Snap does not. P2W gameplay has destroyed player retention for Snap.
5-20 minutes? Nah. I think one of the hooks of Snap is that matches are quick. It's easy to pick up and put down. I don't think a lot of people are going to have patience to sit through a Pokemon match with a random person in a mobile setting, who has the potential to really draw out turns by just sitting there and running up the clock.
The main reason I play SNAP over other games is the fact that I can play a game or two under 5 minutes, 10/20 minutes are too much for me
That is exactly what they aim to do with Pokemon TCG pocket battles. There will be 5 min matches.
@@TCGTimepocket 5 mins tops sounds good but so far I have read everywhere 10 minutes min

I can't wait to play another digital TCG!!! Snap has gotten stale, and I need a new love.

I dont understand why it has to kill snap or people have to pick a game. Why not just play both??
Will check it out but since they’ve remade the Pokemon TCG for the third time, I doubt it will survive longer than Snap
Thumbnail is me, but with yugioh duel links! But gonna be pissed if they actually add more support for plants in the game, when Pocket launches.

Honestly the Hela meta have turned me all the way off Snap. I haven't played in the a few days so I'm definitely willing to try something new.
Boo woo. The meta comes in waves and Hela runs no tech so you can easily blow it out of the water.

Pokémon is only playable against friends locally, not online like Marvel Snap. Until Pokémon allows online play it will never be as popular.
Pokemon has online matchmaking. This has been already confirmed. Not sure where you are getting this fake news. Get educated.
Post PTCGP on this channel.
Do you know if there's any changes to the gameplay mechanics? Or is it just the pokemon tcg with decks capped at 20 cards?
Gameplay is definitely different! its abbreviated, so some classic cards have been changed to adapt to the faster play style.
The main things are no prize mechanic, weaknesses work differently, and only 3 spaces in the bench. Those three things should change a lot.
Isn't this going to be more like Yugioh Duel Links and not like Snap
