That power gum would be a nightmare with a braided main line and for carp in Thailand that hook link is way to long will do mouth damage.

We never have issues with Power gum on braided main line. We also don't experience serious mouth damage on our fish.

Because without the use of a lead weight, the risk of deep hooking a fish is solely attributed to the angler and his retrieve / strike which increases the risk to fish welfare
