Probably already said, but the Makima cosplay is fitting considering the author of Dandadan used to be an assistant for the author of Chainsawman.
The show's original manga author, Yukinobu Tatsu, was once an assistant to Tatsuki Fujimoto and helped him drawing Chainsaw Man.
Tatsu has very high drawing skills, and the Chainsaw Man manga from the period in which he participated are more skillfully drawn than those from other periods.

Just some cultural context on Grandma Seiko's (Momo's grandma) antics. During the "ritual" she's been quoting famous lines from a popular school drama series in Japan called "Kinpachi Sensei" (aired 8 seasons and 12 specials between 1979 and 2011). The drama showcases real life issues that come up during adolescence including bullying, drugs, family issues, etc. and Kinpachi does whatever he can to protect his students, even beating them, at times, albeit with love (the series started in the 70's during a time when beating children as punishment was socially accepted). Seiko's first swing saying "You dumb-dumb" is a line Kinpachi says to his students but the actual word that was used is a dialect from the actor's hometown of Fukuoka (they made the character's hometown match the actor's). Then Seiko proceeds to call Okarun and the Cat Turbo Granny a "rotten tangerine" which is what other teachers called one of Kinpachi's students in an iconic episode analogizing that a single rotten tangerine can ruin the entire box of tangerines (referring to the rest of the class). By the way, the paper fan that she uses is a common prop used in Japanese slapstick comedy because it makes a large noise without it being excessively painful. And it was used a LOT by, none other than, "Baka-tono" which was the TV show Seiko was watching in Ep. 3.

I wonder why granny Seiko felt the need to demean Okarun when he's already suffering...
It was probably just a knee jerk reaction. But in general she just like to mess with the kids. I doubt Okarun took it personally considering it was an older lady rather than his peer group. Like hypothetically if your talking about that topic and your mom or grandma overhears their probably going to embarrass you or undervalue it that’s just how it is cause the see you as children and in Momo and Okarun case they are still children. Like if a say I have a huge pecker and my mom overhears she probably going to reply with “yeah right” sarcastically. But it depends on the relationship I guess.

That kind of usual gauntlet that thrown around by elder(grandma) to protect their precious(granddaughter). Like big sign “Stay Away You Fool”, it doesn’t always work the way it intended but that is the gist of it.

Aria is ok. Vamola is way better though. She's an absolute cinnamon roll. Aria is just such an airhead. I'm glad that she's actually a person with a good heart who just needed a wake up call to make her realize she was a terrible self absorbed bitch at the beginning of the story.
