    $300-$400 here in Australia, compaired to $500-$700 for most makes, and I paid $1,250 for a home made Lithgow.
    I'll buy one for a 50yard Plinker and for the kids to learn.

    Thanks for sharing but I would opt for the Savage MKII. They are superior to the Hatsan for the price. I saw one of these today at a local gun shop, but after handling it I quickly realized it was the same crude quality of the Hatsan air rifles. I have a few of them, and although they are functional and accurate, they are hit or miss in the quality control department.

    What kind of scope do you use? How much was it? I just bought this for my son and know nothing about it. We are taking the safety class and everything on Friday. He is a natural but I'm not. So, I'd need the scope lol.

      I put a Hawke on it, the one supplied in the kit was functional but very much `economy`

    Looks like the 40 and 42gr rounds were cartwheeling by the time they hit the target?

    4 clicks left 2 clicks right.
    care to elaborate on that?
    do you do that to help the spring 'settle'?
    or you do that cuz the scope is kinda lousy?
    how about tapping on the torrets a couple times with finger to 'settle' the spring?

    One last thing is you mentioned flex and not canting the bi-pod but with mine the wood stock gives nearly nothing when pressure is put on it at times like laying it on a log or pressing up against a tree to steady the shot? Idk i didnt buy the poly stocked one so.....? I would love the extra mag holder though i like wood stocks much more!

      @@Mr.Ultra_MAGA I think it is threaded 1/2 UNF. You will need an adapter.
      I have looked for one of these for over a year and none are to be found. I liked the fact it was reasonably price and got pretty good reviews. They must not be imported any more. JimE

      @Jim E ya I finally found that out after looking for 30 mins. Defeats the point of me buying it, but I do still like the gun and the fact I only paid 140$ for it.

    I just got Escort Elite 22lr 550mm , and I have problems with ejection and loading. The bolt is very clumsy. Does it need for cartridge to go all the into the barrel? Does anyone have the same issue?

    • @МихаилПоляков-к8д
      @МихаилПоляков-к8д 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No problems with feeding, bolt clumsy too (it's cheap gun). Ejection does not work only if you need to remove unfired cartrige from chamber, because of the gap between bolt face and rear of the barrel, it does not fit to ejection lips. When you fire - shell expands and sticks in bolt properly. That's why I do not extract live cartriges - i shot it.
      Actualy I do not care - it's extrimelly accurate rifle (for this price). Do triggerjob, Use good quality ammo for hunting- and happines became to you. For plinking I use our Russian cheap ammo (brass only), it works too.

    • @Wanderers-Bulgaria
      @Wanderers-Bulgaria 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@МихаилПоляков-к8д mine it had a manufacturer problem. I returned it for warranty repair and now it works relatively good. Still there are some faulty ejection but I don't have the nerves anymore to explain to those arrogant and careless salesmen in the gun store. It is a budget rifle with its own problems. I would not buy it if I have to look again for 22 lr rifle. One plus it has, it's accurate and second, it's beautiful, but that's all 😊👍

    • @МихаилПоляков-к8д
      @МихаилПоляков-к8д 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Wanderers-Bulgaria Yes, manufacturer got a lot issues, also warranty prosedure here in Russia are cumbersome. Of course I can buy local Tula Factory 22 rifle, it's very accurate, reliable, but it still made by Soviet standards - no polimer stock, no barrel threads for supressor, it's heavy. I buy Hatsan for silent hunting in difficult environment, humidity, snow, mud, without mercy. It's expendable rifle, for utilitarian use. Most issues go away while using good ammo, and I'm happy whith it. Prones and cons everywhere... )))

    WOW your Hatsan came with a carry case? Mine did not. I purchase the one with the nice wood stock and it looks so much like one of he old safari rifles i just had ot have it! Mine is a tac driver with irons i have never used a scope. Red Dots yea on ARs but nothing on my rimfires. As im getting older now i need ot start buying scopes?! lol What is it that you have on yours? Another WOW my Hatsan has a free floated barrel in the wooden chassis....huh? Now i see yours came with two mags as mine came with 4 but it dosnt have a mag holder in the boyy stock as its wood. very interesting bro! Damn a bi-pod as well? I would love to hear what you paid for yours with all the extras? Like i said i only got 4 mags and a gun lock?lol Mine didnt come with a sling but did have the studs in the stock already. But not a bit of all the other extras you got? My Hatsan was only 199.99 before tax but free delivery! LOL I have issues shooting subsonic rounds in it though....some just dont want to set off? If the ammo is high velocity it shoots just fine. i put a cheek rest ammo holder on my Hatsan to give me a better line of sight threw the red dot i put on it. But i want a scope and so far no mention of what kind of scope your using? lol

  • @michaelw.urbansr.8617
    @michaelw.urbansr.8617 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    With mine i can shoot decent groups out to 50 to 75yrds as i need a scope to see much further lol ,getting old sux!haha But at 50yrds with irons i can take one 10rd mag and almost put out that red diamond in the middle of your targets! I have found when using a scope it can take longer to zero in on the center of any target then if using irons......one of the reasons i have never used scopes is i dont know how ot really use one and my math skills suck! LOL I have been considering that Sig scope that comes with a range finder and dose the dope for you? But i have several scopes on my larger caliber rifles but i have not decided which of my Rimfires ill put the only rimfire scope i have on? I own a Marlin 795 which is basically a Ruger 10/22 clone and then this Hatsan a CZ clone hehe then i have my Marlin Bolt gun in 22Mag which is the best shooting rimfire rifle i have! So far those are the only rimfire long guns i own! :>/ I want MORE!?! LOL I want a Marlin model 60 as well as an Actual Ruger 10/22! LOL And we cant forget the awesome Henry Lever 22?!!! So i have a short list! LOLgreat video though thanks!

    Wow yours only has a 16" barrel? mine has almost a 22" barrel, without the brake/FH on it now i have ot look it up and see whats up? Since you have an 18" and mine is a 20.57" I have ot find out if they have different configurations of this gun? I can believe it was a mistake on the manufacturers mistake?LOL Mine is a wood stock version and looks just like an old safari rifles, like i mentioned which i love that look ! But a bunch of differences between yours and mine? Wierd.... I understand not having a spare mag holder in the stock as its wood...but it would sure be nice to have? I modified and added a butt stock ammo holder/cheek rest. Ir hold three mags in it. And a few small tools and oil with some rags for cleaning in the field as i use this for rabbits and other small game.

If your lucky like me you will get your significant other into shooting as well as i have with my wife and we go together! ;>) Since i got her into shooting its been way easier to talk her into larger bulk ammo sales and parts and so on i want for my next build? lol Trying for an AR15 in every caliber they come in so far only 5 left to get! I have all the parts for 5 rifles right now including my 1st AR10 lol . Getting the time to build then is my issue as well. Family and work dosnt help. So i started on the last two by buying complete uppers and building the lowers. I still have 4 to put together from scratch though :>/ oh the lovely problems i have! LOL I may need a lower though and been shopping for one online although i may just go with an Anderson? Inexpensive and soild quality!
