You might not know or you may have forgotten but actually when BTS have a song title followed by a “pt. 1,2,3,etc” within the title it’s cause they do have the other previous parts. For example, Airplane is from J-hope’s first mixtape (Hope World) but BTS in their Love Yourself Tear album made a follow up song called Airplane pt2. Rm came out with the single titled Change featuring Wale years ago and in his newest solo album he released Change pt2. Also within BTS’ discography you have the WAB (We are bulletproof) series that has 3 parts I believe; you also have the cypher series parts 1-4. With that being said, Set Me Free pt1 is actually just titled “Interlude: Set Me Free” and it’s on Agust D’s (aka Suga’s) second mixtape titled D-2. Jimin when asked what was the correlation between his and Suga’s song he said “There isn’t a connection, and we weren’t trying to divide part one or part two,” he explains. “But since it turns out my song talks about freedom and moving forward, and SUGA’s song talks about some of the stories that come before, I thought it would be good to come after that.” Hope this helps.
You don’t know if it’s related at all. Jimin could’ve called it that simply out of respect so it’s not the same as a previous members song name. You don’t know that unless he SPECIFICALLY says so.
@@batoul2953 he hasn’t mentioned it at all since track list came out. Unless I “missed it” show me where in the past 3 weeks since track release that jimin has mentioned that it has anything to do with suga cause he hasn’t mentioned ANY of his songs yet.
